My daughter is getting ready to send a bunch of apps. She has been going over the previews/PDFs of each app. She selected to self report her SAT, ACT, and AP scores for all the schools but for some of them, the scores aren’t showing up in the testing section of the PDFs.
Quick google search says this is normal for some colleges but we want to confirm this is true before she sends the apps out.
My teen was T-boned while driving our 2013 Prius (140k miles). She is an insured driver and the car has collision insurance. We own the car outright.
Our insurance company (USAA) and the other driver’s insurance company (All State) both found the other driver to be liable. We are in WY.
The car is still drivable but has pretty bad cosmetic damage and the wheels are out of alignment from the accident.
We’d prefer to take the total loss check and get the car fixed on our own using the $. We know the history of the car because we have owned it since 2016. It’s a Prius and we love the gas mileage. Teen still needs a car to drive around town for another year but I wouldn’t trust buying an old used car of equal value as much as having her just continue driving this one.
How does it work when a car is considered a total loss but we want to keep it? I have read some things about a “buy back” but don’t understand how that works. I will ask USAA, of course, and see if they’d continue to insure it if we keep it, but just wanted to ask advice here to see what people think.
A neighbor on our street lost her elderly husband suddenly a week or so ago. We didn’t know him, other than saying hi when walking the dog and we also don’t know her very well. But I want to do SOMETHING to show our condolences.
Would bring flowers and a card over be enough? Any other ideas?

If I am using a different tele-health company and want to switch to Trillium, how does that work? I’d want to stay on the dose I am currently on, not buy a starter pack.
Do I just enter my current dose in the intake form?
Do I need to upload a photo of my current prescription?
