I am VERY rough with my picking till I bleed which I’m sure many relate too. Then it scabs over for days. Unfortunately my main picking area is my face so when it scabs I’m of course very insecure. Does anyone have any advice on ways/products that will help me heal the scabbing after picking fast?

My boyfriend took a photo of me two days ago and when I looked at it I realized I was incredibly skinny and looked borderline sickly. I don’t understand this disorder at all. It feels so real when I look in the mirror and all I see is someone fat who needs to lose weight but that photo really woke me up to what I actually look like. The mirror tells me something different still. I don’t know how to let this go.
Every-time I shaved body hair I had a flare up in that area so I stopped and it got better. Can’t afford laser hair removal. I wanna trim my body hair but it’s so tedious doing it with scissors obviously and most razors go too close to the skin that it irritates the hair. I just want an electric razor that only trims it to keep it from getting too long but doesn’t come close to being “shaven” you know? Anyway does anyone know of such a product?

It started two days ago on the calf photo that has the most bruises. Ever since they have started spreading to random places. They kinda hurt when I press down on them but nothing too bad. I haven’t injured myself as far as I can recall.
Does anyone think how actually ridiculous it is that one stupid hair can cause THIS much pain, inflammation, and embarrassment?

I was just trying to explain to my boyfriend that i can’t shave for him anymore cause it makes my hs worse. He knows that it’s a chronic auto inflammatory disease and I have no control over it. I explained to him how it gets to be a boil in previous conversations. I sent him a picture of it to show what happens when I shave and he just texted by “ew.” Now I feel insecure as hell. He has no idea how much embarrassment and pain I go through cause of this stupid disease and i can’t believe after all he knows that he’d say that to me. Like I get it’s gross or whatever but it’s still attached to my body and I have no control over it. Not to mention the context of it was that I couldn’t shave because of it :( it really hurts
