I’m a Florida 6-20 adjuster located in Lake County, Florida, and our Sheriff’s Department is trying to revive an unsolved homicide case. I’ve already shared this post on the r/autobody page and got some great feedback – but wanted to ask for input from all of you as well. We are trying to figure out what kind of vehicles are seen in the video (one small four-door hatchback, and one full-size dark colored SUV). Please keep in mind this incident occurred in 2018 – again, we are well aware of that.

FL 6-20 Adjuster here (worked for Allstate/PGR/GEICO)

At GEICO, I worked in Field Auto Damage. When working a “lightning strike” claim, we were often encouraged to total the vehicle (a constructive total) - we calculated it with an initial repair estimate paired with an open supplement of other items that MAY have been damaged. Almost all of the damage was electrical.

My question is: How do Progressive MRRs and Field Adjusters handle this? Florida adjusters preferred, but I’d love to hear from other states too 🫡

Looks like they’ve added lots of new inside and outside property adjuster positions in the last few days. Those of us currently job hunting probably check daily, but wanted to post just in case 🙏🏼

As the title says, my ex has started a car insurance policy at my and my partner's address. He is very high conflict and has always been quite shady, so while this isn't super surprising - I'm not really confident with how the insurance company is handling it, so I'm looking for ways to escalate/report it so the policy is cancelled immediately.

I have called the insurance company twice and they said their underwriter would "look into it" but we just received more mail with "important insurance documents".

Any help is much appreciated.

*ETA - He never lived at this address. I have moved twice since we broke up years ago and he has followed me both times into new neighborhoods. Our zip codes at this point are only one number off, so I am just confused as to his reasoning doing this.
