Is SEC(K) a Good Career Path for a Fresh BTech Graduate in Singapore?

BTech graduate from India here. I recently got an opportunity related to the SEC(K) route for working in Singapore in the surveillance/security systems domain.

Wanted honest advice from people already in Singapore:

- Is SEC(K) a good starting path for fresh engineering graduates?

- How is the long-term career growth and salary progression?

- Can it help transition into better engineering/technical roles later?

- Any things I should be careful about before proceeding?

Would appreciate real experiences and practical advice.

I accidentally made two AIs fall in love on WhatsApp and couldn't stop them

Today I accidentally sent “hi” from one AI bot to another AI bot.

Now both bots have been talking continuously for the last few minutes like two unemployed call center employees with infinite energy 💀

I accidentally invented:

Autonomous AI-to-AI communication

Infinite recursive conversation architecture

Distributed emotional support system for robots

My API logs are fighting for their lives right now 😂

Got a positive GET interview 20 days ago, manager said "HR will contact you"

Had a fresher GET interview at a large Indian manufacturing/optical fiber company on April 21st.

Interview went really well - they congratulated me on a my competitions & projects, asked detailed questions, discussed department preferences and relocation. Ended with "HR team will contact you".

It's been 20 days now. I've sent 2 follow up emails, connected with the interviewing manager on LinkedIn who replied "HR team will let you know, I'm not the right person for this."

Still complete silence from HR.

Is this normal for large Indian manufacturing companies? Should I keep waiting or move on? Any similar experiences?

I missed my exam waiting for a bus that never came -so I built a fix

On April 27th I waited from 7AM to 8AM at Guntur Bus Stand for a Pallevelugu bus to Vijayawada. No bus came. Only express buses that don't stop at Tadepalli. I had an exam at 9:30AM. Lost the whole hour.

APSRTC has GPS trackers on buses. But zero real-time info is shown to commuters. You're just supposed to stand and guess.

I got frustrated and started building Orbit Live - a real-time bus tracking and Digital Tickets & Passes app for APSRTC routes. I have a working prototype ready.

Before I go further I want to know:

👉 Does anyone else face this daily?

👉 Which routes are worst for you?

👉 Would you use an app that tells you exactly when your bus is coming?

If yes - DM me or comment. I'm looking for early testers, especially on the Guntur–Vijayawada corridor.

Building this for us, not for APSRTC.

Website - https://orbit-live-website.vercel.app/

APK not added I add it later once strong user validation collected

Hi everyone,

> I wanted to warn all **Realme P1 5G** users about the latest **Realme UI 7.0 (Android 16)** update released around May 6th, 2026 (Version: **RMX3870_16.0.5.700**).

> After installing this 3.49 GB update, my phone started automatically restarting and switching off repeatedly. I had to go to the authorized service center, where they had to perform a full factory reset and rollback to Android 15/UI 6.0 just to make the phone usable again.

> Key Issues:

> Constant auto-restarts/bootloops immediately after the update.

> Phone becomes completely unresponsive or switches off.

> Service center charged me a **₹176 labor fee** to fix their buggy update because my phone was out of warranty.

> Even after the rollback, the phone is still prompting me to "Download & Install" the same buggy version.

DO NOT INSTALL IT.

> Has anyone else faced this? If you’re on the P1 5G, turn off your "Auto-update overnight" settings immediately!

And anyone know how to fix this.
