IDed at the movies...

I'm almost 25 and I went to a movie alone the other night and the girl checking my ticket asked to see my ID since it was R rated... it was so awkward when she was like "woah you're so much older than me" and continued to guilt-complement me still using a tone of voice meant for a young child. Bothered me.

Also as a side note, I find it kind of quaint they actually still check IDs at the movies when you think about how much access to mature content minors have on the internet and stuff.

Am I overreacting for wanting my family to stop bringing up my most embarrassing memory?

Does anyone else's family constantly bring up one embarrassing thing from your childhood/teen years?

There's something I did about 10 years ago during a really awkward phase of my life. It's not even a funny "kid did something silly" story. Objectively, it's actually kind of a heavy, disturbing, uncomfortable memory. I don't even like to think about it too much.

The thing is, my mom and sister bring it up at the slightest segue. It's always in a joking, "lol we're so dysfunctional" kind of way to get a rise out of me, but every single time it comes up I just feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. It takes me back to a really painful version of myself and I wish we could let it stay in the past.

The weird part is that it doesn't really affect my day-to-day life. I don't sit around thinking about it. I don't even fully understand why I acted the way I did back then, and I don't honestly don't really feel the need to keep revisiting it. I don't think they mean to hurt me. Annoy me - sure, but I wish they could recognize the depth of my discomfort.

Has anyone else dealt with this?

Are suction toys like the Rose worth it?

I’m really curious about how clit-sucking/air pulse toys feel because my current vibrator is sadly dying and I’m thinking of getting one.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the rose toy and similar ones, but I’d love to hear honest opinions, especially from people who didn’t like them or found them overrated.

My clit is pretty sensitive, and I usually need stimulation through the hood rather than directly. Do suction/air pulse toys still work well that way, or are they usually too intense/direct?

Hey! I have some extra hygiene products (deodorant, shampoo, etc.) that I won’t use and would rather donate.

Does anyone know of any spots near downtown Phoenix that accept toiletries? Ideally somewhere I can just drop them off.

Appreciate any suggestions!

I've been pushing out stones for about 3 years but notice the more I do it, the more I am aware of the awful smell/taste of the stones and their liquid in the back of my throat (gross). I try not to push them out that much because I find it the taste seems to lessen the less I do it, but I know they are back there. It's just hard for me to get them out, and I don't want to hurt the tissue back there and make it sore which has happened before. But I can still sense that disgusting smell deep in my mouth. Any tips? I don't even recall having the smell before I started removing stones about 3 years ago :-/
