[spoilers main] Flawed characters
I feel like in HoTD they keep trying to portray the women as nearly faultless in order to make them appear strong, yet it makes them appear only feeble and/or stupid. In the first season those characters seemed to be deeply flawed and also appeared to be strong in their own right, but since the second season the show has gone down the rail for me.
Contrasting this with GoT, taking Cersei as an example, she had so many shortcomings and flaws in her character and yet she is for me, one of the strongest character portrayals I've ever seen. Perhaps exactly because of those flaws.
Another funny thing I've noticed is how these showrunners are making people say how better GoT was. If you're making people praise GoT then you seriously need to have an introspection about your work^_________^
What are your thoughts?

Weirded out
I have been looking for a new book series to read since a few days now, and I got to know about The Ring trilogy by Koji Suzuki, the series that inspired the movie by the same name that came out in 2002, as well as a bunch of other stuff. Since I liked the movie fairly well, I decided to give the books a try and wasn't disappointed. I'm roughly halfway through it and quite immersed. The plot is basically that there's a haunted video tape, and anyone who watches it will die within 7 days unless they manage to perform a "ritual" to stop it.
Today I decided to learn more about the author and looked him up on google, and I find that he died the day before yesterday, on 8th of May, the same day I started reading the series.
Coincidence? Well maybe, but I'd be lying if I say I'm not weirded out.
My ck2 won't launch from the steam app, when I click Play it just crashes after running for about a second. I've been trying this for some time now, also I can't locate the paradox interactive file anywhere in my pc. Any suggestions how to fix this?
