With the acquisition of Gravlift, the Trade City of Eudora has become permanently orbital.

Standard Year 21. The corporate tradeship of Eudora has acquired Gravlift through unknown means - some said they leveraged the power of Archotech for themselves. Other said their corporate CEO and an Empire nobility, Lev, struck a deal with the Imperium of Casopgal using his Knight status to acquire one.

Trade City of Eudora has finally gained orbital parity with the Space Guilds and the Empire's flotillas, allowing them to remain orbital in space indefinitely without the need to land - Hydroponics take care of the oxygen and food needs for the near-thirty strong crews, while Gravcoils power generators ensure the eternal manipulation of gravitons to their leverage. Even the chemfuel and astrofuel itself are handled by Fleshmass regeneration. And finally, the Gravlift itself to allow the Gravship to stay in space without the need to hitch onto superorbital entities. The rest of needs will be handled by orbital trading by the kin flotillas with..... 'pharmaceutical trading'.

Never again the savage and uneducated tribes of lower atmosphere can touch the corporation, and city of Eudora shall remain of the ship name befitting the word of ancient Earth.

I'd like to report a bug.

Vanilla Gravship Expanded, if you have a Gravlift module and lift into the orbit the quest still spawn shuttles for quests.

The shuttle has nowhere to land in empty orbit tile and thus the only logical place to land is IN YOUR SHIP.

Needless to say I've got multiple hull breaches.

Drawing for elaborative explanation.

Interestingly, the entire trail that shuttle traveled into the map also ripped all the ship roofs in its path right off, hence entire ship hull breach.

One soul for 4 hour of 5000w is kind of lame.

Archotech Violence generator is incredibly niche. From the word, you would think it rides on the pawns brain and make them go to the brink of insanity in trade of energy.

Like -15 [Archotech Influence] [I can't think anything clearly. It's all the irritation and the urge to punch someone.]

Turned out, it gives per execution (or rather pawns dying around it) 4 hours worth of 5,000w energy.

Then it runs out. Very quickly.

You simply don't get enough raid to justify its existence that much. Also, the most dangerous thing about it being if your pawn happen to die near the generator, they immediately become dessicated meaning you cannot use the serum on them, even if you have it.

Wind turbines have its use despite the downtime, because the downtime isn't that such awful it becomes unreliable. AVG, on the other hand, rely entirely on someone dying (which is actually not that frequent mind you) making it a far less interesting option compared to advanced turbine.

I am wondering how much it would stack in a raid, though.. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad if the kill count can stack indefinitely.

Snuffing out a soul into oblivion can't even power two sunlamps for 4 hours. Even Satan gives better deal than this.

Could Rapture not only survived but thrived with charity/NGO/NPO?

So, the Rapture society is about 'You get what you deserve. And if you are nothing, you deserve nothing.' which is also demonstrate in Ryan Preparatory School, where kindness and sharing is shunned over individualism. Fontaine rode on this and gained extreme traction with the poor house, which quickly destabilized Rapture's fragile political structure and turn them against Ryan. Which means not everyone bought into Ryan's craps all that much and he's just the big shot.

Sure, Rapture values individualism and shun government - But that also means Fontaine can set up poor house to his liking much to Ryan's ire. The problem about Rapture is that there exist no social net for the poor, and when they fall down - They plunge down, quite literally. With hardly any way to climb back up, or even survive. This only contribute to the inevitable civil war.

Could Rapture have survived better if citizens understand (or at least, act in their own self-interest to not plunge city into anarchy and getting themselves killed) that they become conscious enough to have humanitarian NGO that deal with such trouble, in order to put the population back into workforce? Government did not order them and they are on their own, so it's not exactly what Ryan could shut down either, like Fontaine's poor house.

Think about it, the libertarian Utopia with community-created safety net. Probably with a very high chance to fail and return to the Rapture state again when they stop doing it, though.

Luciferium worth it?

In short story, I am in a pretty-well off Gravship colony with 2m wealth, 25 pawns with access to decent gears and equipment (flak vest, jacket, charge rifles, beam repeater etc) with a few warcaskets.

The main colonist is a Flake-addicted corporate CEO level 30 Psycaster who is also alcoholic thanks to the two dependency. He is 20 Melee jacked to hell with Monosword that also restore focus on kill, which makes him pretty unstoppable. He also have pretty much all the chips and xenogerms and Death Refusal required to curbstomp everything in his path short of warcaskets.

But I can't help but wonder - What if I give him Luciferium, too? - Would it be worth it in a long shot, since he also has Deathless gene - Which should save him in the case of extreme withdrawal. But as far as I am concerned I don't really run into Luciferium as often as I would think it'd be available compared to flake, psychite tea and beers.

Or even all my melee warcaskets with Luciferiums, too?

Genuinely this terrified the shit out of me.

I was constructing the Proximity detectors for the first time, and before I could place all of it one of it suddenly blared red during construction..

The best kind of horror is the silent horror.

I played Ready or Not about a year ago or two, and the last time I joined a match I remembered suspect AI headshot me through a crack in the door or piles of random box while strafing around. Or seeing through certain meshes etc. Or night vision eyeballs.

Has the AIs been updated to be.... less John Wick yet?

Solar flare hit while everyone was busying mining an asteroid, and I forgot to unroof the reactors to disable the things.

Temperature quickly spiked over 100c in the reactor room and hallway, where the heat are vented out with vents. AC were overloaded and couldn't keep the meltdown from happening.

It was impossible to fix and only unroofing it can stop the reactor, but as we know it that was too late.

I will be honest, I planned for using reactor as central heating, but didn't plan for the scenario where solar flare will kill the reactors with meltdown....

Literally nothing happened to my Knight pawn after finishing.

What is even this thing.

Note : My pawn was in xenogerm coma during the mission, I am not sure if that has something to do with it.

From sworn enemies to best friends in 1 minute.

They changed their mind relatively quickly.

"Sir! Unmanned drop pods inbound - No life signs!"
"What's this?!"
"Flakes! Heaps of it! The bastards from the giant gravship hoped to buy us out! We should not fall for their ploy, Moral Conqueror!"

one minute later

"OINK! OINK! OINK! OINK! OINK! OINK! OINK!"
"OINK! OINK! OINKOINK OINK OINK!"
