Our biggest Warmaster tournament yet! Close-up shots of my Vampire Counts and freshly painted Lizardmen 🦇🦎

This weekend our local community held its biggest Warmaster tournament so far, and it turned out to be an amazing day.

The Battle for the Harvest ended with yet another victory for the Elves… but I’m sure the Vampire Counts will have their revenge one day. 🩸

What makes me happiest, though, isn’t the result. It’s seeing our community continue to grow. Every tournament brings new players, new armies, and more beautifully painted miniatures to the table. It’s especially exciting for me because I only discovered Warmaster not that long ago, and it’s been great watching the local scene expand.

Here are a few close-up shots of my Vampire Counts alongside my freshly painted Lizardmen army from the event.

Out of curiosity, what did you like about Warmaster that made you fall in love with it in the first place?

New Lizardmen player looking for advice! 🦎

A friend of mine has just started playing Lizardmen, and I’m painting his army while he learns the game.

I’d love to hear what lists and tactics other Lizardmen players enjoy.

What works well for you? Any units that consistently overperform or combinations you’d recommend?

Two games of Vampire Counts vs Lizardmen at 1000 points ⚔️

Played two 1000-point games this Sunday with Vampire Counts against Lizardmen.
As expected, the undead had the advantage in numbers, but definitely not in quality 😅
One thing really stood out to me: the Stegadon looks absolutely amazing on the table. I mean, who doesn’t love a giant dinosaur carrying smaller dinosaurs? 🦖 But at 1000 points it felt like a huge investment, and I’m still not convinced it earned its cost in either game.
For those of you who play these armies, what lists do you usually run at 1000 points?
I’d also love to hear about any tactics or unit combinations that have worked well for you, whether you’re playing Vampire Counts or Lizardmen.

Half a Lizardmen army painted in just 5 evenings 🤯🦎

Honestly, I didn’t expect this pace myself, but here’s the result after only five evenings of painting.

1 evening to test the paint scheme on a Saurus.
2 evenings for the rest of the Saurus.
2 more evenings for all the remaining units.

The Stegadon was probably my favorite model to paint 🤗

My goal is to get the core units to a solid tabletop standard first, then spend more time on the characters, command stands, and centerpiece models to really make them stand out 🫡

I’m planning to make a painting video for this army. If you were watching it, what would you like to see? Speed painting, recipes, airbrush workflow, tips, mistakes, or something else? 🤔

I’ve finally uploaded my first YouTube video! 🎉

This one is about painting a unit of 10mm Lizardmen for Warmaster, but I plan to make a lot more content in the future, mostly focused on Warmaster, miniature painting, terrain and other hobby projects.

I’d really appreciate any feedback from the community, and I hope you enjoy it!

⚔️ First mini-report from the last tournament!

Finally got my hands on the trial version of the reports 😁

In my opinion, it turned out a bit long, but this is probably the result of the modern perception of content 😅 Personally, I would either cut this video into several parts, or shorten it a little more.

I also played with the AI voice acting 🤖 Overall, the result is not bad, but this intelligence definitely has room to grow 😄

Overall, I'm satisfied with the result ☺️ I especially liked how the sound effects added atmosphere and enlivened the events on the table 🔥

Yesterday we had a great Warmaster tournament and just an all-around awesome day of games 🔥

We saw a wide mix of armies on the table: High Elves, Dark Elves, Vampire Counts, Tomb Kings, and even forces from the Empire of Marienburg 😱

I played two games against High Elves. In the first one, my undead basically crumbled before they could even properly move the dice were definitely not on my side 🤔

The second game, however, was the complete opposite. The dice rolled like they were enchanted, and I was actually able to pull off some of my tactical plans ☺️

Took plenty of photos and videos hoping it helps keep the motivation going and grow the community even more 🔥
