Is it just me or are most Reddit groups already being managed by radical leftist woke?

I'm a history guy, and I question inconsistencies. I usually post questions asking people about what they think, and such. Personally, I am always expecting some neutral, or constructive, objective comment. I am still open to biased comments because I can still pick something from them. Reddit is a good place to gather opinions, tips, and knowledge coming from different people, as all of us here are aware of. Doesn't matter the nationality or background.

Just few months with reddit, I'm starting to notice that a big chunk of the comments are somewhat, leaning left. Now it could be that maybe I'm focusing on the wrong side of Reddit or it could be that I'm paying too much nonsense attention to this. But this is really giving me a radical woke Netflix minded Tumblr-twitter era vibe.

sometimes I would post something that would motivate them to challenge my views or enlighten me, but most of the time, the criticisms are really obvious that I'm getting reactions from Leftists. I become 100% certain that Reddit itself became a new territory for people like them after noticing some big reddit groups having rainbows in their profile pictures.

Its frustrating. For someone like me who seeks the truth...I'm starting to loose my grip on reddit.

Is there a movie or series that depicts Europe after the fall of Rome, when barbarian descendants became the aristocracy and government, and Retired old Roman empire veterans, Roman soldiers still in service, and Romans who have lived during the Western Roman empire co-existed?

I'm looking for something to watch where it depicts the era of the Visigoths, Franks, and Ostrogoths.

I’m looking for accurate English language books or translations covering the history of Castile, the Spanish Empire, and the Conquests. I would highly prefer authors who are recommended and approved by the Hispanic community to ensure a fair and accurate perspective. Thanks!

Honestly, it’s tough to trust a lot of mainstream English sources because the Black Legend is still so deeply embedded in how Spanish history is taught. Can anyone help me bypass the bias and recommend some solid, accurate books or authors that give a fair account of Hispanic history? English authors or English translations are perfectly fine!

As a bit of background: I'm mestizo, and it just hit me recently how much my father neglected to teach me our mother tongue growing up. I'm making a real effort to study the language now, but in the meantime, I'd love some great reading material for research. Thank you so much!

How was your youtube channels monetization journey? As a new content creator myself, I'm not yet eligible for monetization yet, but I want to have the idea to set proper expectations for myself.

Im still reaching around 60 subscribers. This and the following from my recent uploads really inspired me to create more content. However, with all that, I have gone through some internal challenges questioning whether this is really worth it. With the realistic expectations I wanted to set for myself, while this is not yet a big money earning gig yet, I'm planning on getting myself employed while doing this on the side.

The content really is a lot of hard work and I feel like I'm a small time production studio company myself doing all the work alone. But with the skills I have accrued over the years I am confident that I can push through with this.

I wanted to be grounded in reality as much as possible.

Any recommendations for a reliable Canary Islands history resources/books?

I am currently conducting historical research on the Spanish Empire, right now, I am specifically focusing on the colonization of the Canary Islands. I am doing my best to sift through the intense modern political biases that tend to cloud this era from both the left and the right. While completely unbiased history can be elusive, I want to get as close to objective truth as possible.

Could anyone recommend reliable source that approach this history objectively? Thank you so much for your help!

Is it a copyright violation to use clips from movies, shows, and documentaries for a montage or aesthetic edit? If so, does fair use offer any protection or workarounds for video editors?

I fully respect the intent of copyright law and the effort that creators put into their original work. At the same time, many aspiring creatives like myself look to these works for inspiration. We use them to build narratives and share messages that entertain and inspire audiences, even if we don't yet have the resources for entirely original productions.

My goal is to publish faceless video essays or montages on YouTube that showcase my editing skills and storytelling. However, I want to ensure I am doing this ethically. Is there a viable path or alternative for this style of content if I choose not to include vocal commentary, critiques, or comedic overlays? I want to protect the integrity of my artistic vision while respecting the original creators. Thank you for your guidance and advice.

Latin American and Iberian Spanish people of reddit, who do you consider as your favorite or one that you admire in the history of your country.

Wikipedia or other sources on the internet might suggest names that are heroes or influential figure in Spanish history. But I just think that opinions might vary if I would ask the people because they know their history better that what mainstream internet would say.
