Best brands for braids?

Hi, Im not looking to get extensions to cover my whole head, I just want a few clip ins specifically for when I do braids. I assume you'd probably need something thicker so that the braids don't look way thinner than my actual hair?

Does my son have a cow cat pattern?

Hi! My son has pubes and chest hair. Is he a cow cat or a tuxedo or just a little freak? Thank you!

Is it racist to hurt my (27F) partner on accident? (32NB)

Hi!

I'm not sure where the best place to ask about this is, please advise if this is the wrong subreddit. I (white 27F) was with my partner (arab 32NB) for two years. I recognize an inherent power imbalance as a white person, and I'm happy to acknowledge my privilege. But throughout our relationship, they told me I was racist during fights. They asked me to read books about white privilege, which I did and had no issue with, but it kept getting worse. They were able to acknowledge that I never did anything overtly racist, but they said that since I was white, and they were arab, that anything I did that hurt them was inherently a racial aggression. If I did something wrong, I would apologize, and they would often say something like "that's so typical of white people, thinking saying sorry fixes everything". I don't understand what else I could have done, please tell me. It made me feel so insecure because it felt like they were always trying to villainize me. It felt like they saw everything I did as racist. They told me I felt insecure about getting called racist because white people can't reflect on their mistakes. How could I have reflected better? When I called my sister to ask for advice they said it was part of my white privilege to have family to turn to. I was raised poor and my sister is all I have, I don't know who else I could have asked. I left them over this and many other reasons, and they told me that it was part of me not being willing to face my racism, so I was running. When I asked why they wanted to be with me if they thought I was racist they'd say that all white people are but that they believed I could be better. One of the last things they said before I decided to block them was that I don't deserve to have any POC close to me ever again.

I understand they are a very hurt person, and I hope they find another POC that helps them feel safe. I just want to understand what I could have done better because I want to have POC in my life in the future without making them feel this way. Is this something I'll just never understand because I'm white? Please help.

Thank you!

Coconut!!

This is my foster child, Coconut. She had a singleton kitten who got adopted and I decided to keep her at home until someone wants to keep her because she was doing really bad at the shelter. She came from an abusive hoarder situation so she struggles with humans but everyday I practice helping her be less shy. She's never hissed at me she just thinks I'm gonna hurt her and is always so scared :( just wanted to show her off because she's such a sweetie and deserves some praise even though she's still looking for a furever home. 💚 :)
