🤔 Curious what people honestly think & believe about this haze lately (that is so thick this morning…)

I grew up in Lancaster 🐄 (born in 1985) & don’t ever remember smoke from wildfires causing haze in the county like this.

I’ve spent several seasons in Yellowstone National Park 🏞️ & have lived all over the state of Colorado 🏔️ throughout the wandering years of my adult life, & know what wildfire smoke feels, looks, & smells like… & this haze seems different / UNNATURAL 😵‍💫

🚙 I have driven all over the USA 🇺🇸 since last July (2025) & have seen plenty of seeming hazes, awkward “fogs / mists,” & the most messed up inorganic feeling weather ever. And at night the haze messes with headlights & streetlights in a really stark & annoying fashion. You know what I have not seen? 🔥 One single wildfire (not to say they aren’t happening - but am surprised I haven’t seen one if folks are chalking up all this haze to them 🤷‍♂️).

So that is just my experience & I am not saying I am necessarily right or know everything etc… but I gotta say it just does not seem like woodsmoke.

What’s everyone else’s perspectives / impressions? 💨
