Hi all, I've written a children's book about fungi for ages 3-6 for a school project and my teacher has suggested that I have it published. I'm not sure which publisher to look for and have only approached Penguin publishing house so far. I dont really like them as they seem pretty suspicious - pushy and aggressive. I'm also not very sure about the book publishing industry - seems that different publishing houses focus on different genres? Is there anything I should take note of?

And if anyone is interested in the book I will be showcasing it at an upcoming event at the national library :)
