AI 5080 setup LOUD fan issue fix for future owners

So I was playing Crimson Desert a fairly demanding game in cinematic mode. No issues then suddenly it sounded like a wood chipper. I originally thought it was one of my intake fans but turned out to be one of the 5080 fans. I instantly feared the worst.

Luckily the issue was that when AI ran the cable for the graphics card underneath and as it heated up and relaxed it pulled up into the fan

All I had to do was route the cable safely and all was well.

I’ve seen another person having this issue on another forum so I’m sure someone else here will encounter it.

Easy fix but scary moment

I know this is cheaper on the AI website but this build has a 2TB SSD. It also is ready to ship versus waiting to be built from the AI site.

Can anyone think of any reason not to go ahead and jump on this?

FYI: im 6 hours from a micro center and am a disabled veteran with TBI resulting in narcolepsy and cataplexy so driving longer than an hour is a no go or id be at micro center today lol

Any help is appreciated! You guys are the best
