Got my first item from Depop and I’m so disappointed

I ordered this 100% wool skirt from Depop. The listing looked good. There were no mentions of any damages. I was naive and I didn’t ask if there were any damages to the piece because I assumed people would be upfront about it. But when it arrived today, it was covered in pet hair and has at least 3 holes in it. One of the holes is big enough for me to put my pinky through it. I’m just so disappointed.

I reached out to the seller so let’s see what they say. The only problem is that I paid using PayPal and PayPal permanently deactivated my account without any explanation so I don’t know how a refund would work.

What are my options?

EDIT: I offered to mail the skirt back and asked for a full refund but the seller said they don’t do returns, only a partial refund. I don’t want a $60+ damaged item. I’m also scared because they have my address and full name.

Are Chanel makeup products worth the price?

Hi everyone!

I’ve been wanting to try a few different Chanel makeup products but I wanted to get people’s opinions before I make any purchases.

Some products I was looking into are: baume essential muti-use glow stick, Les beige water-fresh complexion touch or tint, lip and cheek balm, Le lift lip and contour care, and some of their rouge allure velvet lipsticks.

Some of my current makeup includes the Estée Lauder double wear foundation, Mac Studio fix power foundation, a lip and cheek balm from quo, a bunch of matte lipsticks from Mac.

I’m curious how people actually feel about Chanel makeup. Are any of the products I listed worth it. If not, are there any products you would recommend instead?

Another job scam! National Employment and Consulting Inc.

I don’t remember ever applying to this company called National Employment and Consulting Inc. but they reached out to me yesterday saying something along the lines of, “Thank you for applying for the marketing role. The salary is $37K-77K. Please fill out this google form and then message us on WhatsApp for further communication”

Just take a look at the google form. I don’t even know what to say. Do I laugh at the spelling mistake? Or fume at these people asking about my immigration status? Why do you need that information and why on earth would you contact those who need immigration support first? These people aren’t even trying to hide the scams anymore.

Why does everyone love the Longchamp Le Pliage so much?

Genuinely curious. I keep seeing people rave about these bags but when I went to the store to see them in person, I didn’t really like it that much. What am I missing?

I have an ex best friend who used to lie about all sorts of things. She lied about some pretty serious things like terminal illness, ab**se, and a bunch of other big and small things. I confronted her twice about some of the lies and she seemed so calm that I couldn’t tell what was going on in her head. She obviously denied everything but provided absolutely no evidence to back up her claims. I moved on after the first confrontation and let things go thinking that now that she knows I know, she won’t lie to me again. But then it kept happening again. And after the second confrontation, I just stopped talking to her. However, I’ve always wanted to know how she had such a calm demeanor after being presented with a mountain of evidence against her. I was her closest friend. We grew up together. But she never even tried to salvage the friendship.

So, I guess my question to all the pathological liars of Reddit is, what are you going through on the inside when you’re confronted about your lies with undeniable evidence?
