Realistic Case Western ED?

Hi, I want to apply ED for Case Western’s biomedical engineering program. I don’t have any stand out ec’s and a mid essay. I am a rising senior.

Second Choice major?

Hi, I am applying to Case and the application is asking for a first choice and second choice major with certainty. I want to go to Case to study biomedical engineering as a first choice, and don’t have much interest in anything else. Should I just put another engineering field and say somewhat certain? I am thinking if applying ED, what are the chances I don’t get my first choice?

20 L vs 30 L for college

Hi, I am looking to buy a new backpack for college and stumbled upon the Herschel Kaslo. I like the design but I am not sure if the things I carry will fit in the 20 L backpack. I mostly carry a 16 inch laptop, an Ipad, around 2 notebooks, a folder, a pencil case, a water bottle, and a Sony XM6 with its case. I really don’t like to dig through my bag for stuff and was wondering if the 20 L would be enough for my needs.

what engineering major for undergrad

Hi, I am strongly thinking of applying as a biomedical engineering major for college as a rising high school senior. I want to pursue something along the lines of tissue engineering and biomaterials, but I am wondering if a chemical engineering degree would be more beneficial than a biomedical one. Thank you!

Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Schools

Hi, I am not sure if I can post this kind of stuff here, but I wanted some input on what undergrad schools I should apply to that have good BME programs. For some context, I am a rising senior that has mid ECs and my gpa is 3.96 UW, decile 1 at my school, and my SAT is 1520. Income is < 100K, but I believe some out of state schools don’t give much aid even then. I am not really worried about school rankings and such, I just want a strong school for BME.

BME career path for upcoming high school senior

Hi, I am an upcoming hs senior and thinking about majoring in bme for undergrad. I don’t really know what the path after college looks like as there are many opinions about this major. Assuming I finish 4 years of undergrad as a bme major, will it be hard for me to find a job fresh out of college thats pays above 60k? Also, would it be beneficial if I major in bme and minor in another engineering field like EE?

First IEM

Hello, I am looking to buy an IEM that is under 40$ USD. I want to wear it for everyday use for music when I am outside. I wanted to know if there are any recommendations for an IEM at this price point. I also want to know if there is a big difference between using usb-c and the jack because my phone only has a slot for usb-c. I heard about the Moondrop CHU II as well and wanted any thoughts on it and if there are better alternatives. I also listen mostly to the ballad and pop genre of music (like breakup songs) where there are lots of emotional vocals if that can also influence my purchase.

Need a gaming laptop for fps games

Hi, I currently am using a HP Spectre 2 in 1 to play games like Valorant but that game is already pushing frames and I can’t even play Overwatch or Deadlock on this current laptop. I am looking to buy a new laptop kind of focused on gaming only and use the Spectre for school work. I just really want to be able to play Valorant at least at 100 fps with no stutter at the lowest settings.
