The Barnes by Hilton vs. Grand Hyatt Union Square
Going on a girls trip with 6 people and trying to decide between two budget-friendly hotels: The Barnes and the Grand Hyatt. We’re stuck on which one would be more practical but also more memorable.
I’m leaning toward The Barnes since it’s in the older part of SF and close to the cable cars, but some of the group prefers the Grand Hyatt for its newer interior.
I had a few questions about The Barnes:
- Any issues with plumbing or hot water?
- Are the two queen bed rooms spacious enough for comfort?
- How’s the overall service?
Also, how are the areas around both hotels? Id love to stay somewhere with good coffee shops, brunch spots, and just a vibe that really captures the essence of SF
