For founders: where do you actually spend your money on packaging?

I’m curious about something from the business-owner side of things.

When you launched your product, how much did you prioritize having a really good graphic/packaging designer versus putting that money into the product, marketing, manufacturing, etc.?
And now that you’ve been through the process, would you do anything differently?

A few things I’m especially curious about:
Did you hire a professional packaging designer or DIY it?
Did your designer understand the production side of packaging, or was it mainly visual design?
Did you budget for things like dielines, prepress, UPCs, regulatory copy, SKU versions, printer requirements, etc.?
If you have multiple SKUs, how are you managing all the artwork and versioning?

Have you ever had an expensive printing mistake because something wasn’t caught before production?
Looking back, what part of packaging do you think is worth spending money on, and what isn’t?
Basically, where did you invest in packaging and actually see the value, and where did you feel like you wasted money?

And lastly,What was the most expensive packaging mistake you made that you would absolutely prevent if you launched again?

Would love to hear from founders who’ve actually taken a product from concept to shelf.

Hey all!

First of all, I’m so sad that summer is coming so close, which means sundress season is over😢

Caribbean-born, Ontario Canada-based woman. I'm , curious, and drawn to meaningful conversations over small talk. I enjoy psychology, culture, human behavior, business, design, and learning about what makes people who they are.

I'm “5'4", petite with a fit/curvy build, and I take pride in
taking care of myself. I value confidence, kindness, emotional maturity, and people who are comtortable being authentic.

Also, I am a big Marvel tan and I have recently picked up playing badminton and Pickleball. If you have any tips on how to play, I would be happy to hear from you, even if you're not interested in me personally per say.
Even though I'm outgoing and social, I tend to be attracted to shy, nerdy, chill laid back yet men. The ying to my yang, no pun intended lol.

My music taste is all over the place, but let me put it in a nutshell 😂
I can go from Mozart, Bach and Tchaikovsky to the daily grind of Gunna, Future, Young Thug and Russ. Especially those unreleased.

And if I’m in that mood, with that special person? Sade, Lana Del Rey… you already get the vibe. 😏

I don't usually post photos right away, but I'm open to sharing them once there's a genuine conversation and mutual comfort. I believe attraction is important, but connection, character, and how someone treats others matter just as much.

If you're thoughtful, respectful, intellectually curious, and have a good sense of humor, we'll probably have a great conversation.

Have a great Week!

Edit: Thank you for the DMs. Some of you are genuinely very sweet. ❤️
However, some of you are also really nasty and downright weird. Y’all need to get your lust under control. Seriously. 😂

Please do not message me with anything inappropriate. I’m not interested.

I also don’t mind talking to people from other countries, but I’m not looking for an online relationship or pen pals. I’m not looking for anything in particular right now. If something happens naturally, it happens.

Otherwise… you will feel my wrath. 😂 You have been warned.

Have a great Week!

Question for men who feel insecure about height: I genuinely want to understand.

I’ve been seeing a lot of conversations about height, especially among Asian men, and I’m curious about the perspective.

I’m 5’4”, so to me, a man who is 5’7”, 5’8”, or 5’9” is still noticeably taller than me. Height has never really been something I focus on when I’m attracted to someone. I tend to notice things like confidence, personality, style, fitness, and how someone carries themselves.

For men who are shorter, what has your experience actually been like? Do you feel like height affects dating opportunities as much as people say it does? Or is the insecurity more about comparing yourself to other men?
I’m genuinely trying to understand, because from my perspective, a few inches doesn’t change whether someone can be attractive.
