Is there a chop function on the live II like there is on the Mpc sample? One that chops the sample into separate pieces on each pad

Long story short is I am ass at making beats. How long did it take yall to get good and what did you do to get better? I really want to be great at this, I’m already being consistent by putting hands on everyday so any advice is welcome.

Can I hook my MPK88 up to an MPC Live II? Has anyone ever tried this or is the equipment too outdated to work with the live II

Is there a way to get the audio to play from my turntable straight out of the Mpc live 2? I can only hear after I’ve finished recording the sample instead of hearing it while it’s playing

Sorry for the beginner question but I’ve recorded a sequence that I don’t like and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to clear the entire recording from the sample without starting a new project entirely. Does anyone know how to do this here?
