Do you like the 162 game season?

It doesn’t make sense to have teams grind daily 3+ months to get a wild card spot just to be eliminated in 2 mid week afternoon games! After 162 games, now they wanna rush through?!

I think it would make more sense and if it was like the NBA, less regular season games and more best of 7 playoffs.

Can a high school coach replace Dave Roberts?

How important is coaching in baseball? Honestly, with the crazy lineup the Dodgers had, I think any amateur coach could have won a World Series with them!

Are hits vs flyout a matter of luck?

When a batter hits the ball, is he aiming for it to land in an empty space vs right at the infielder? Is it a matter of luck or skill?

With a 90 mph ball, a slight angle difference changes the ball's direction drastically!

40% of World Cup blocks are invisible on resale!

Many blocks don't have a single ticket listed for resale!

Inspired by the earlier post showing FIFA bulk-dumping tickets on resale sites which all happened to be on the same block. I scraped SeatSidekick.com data to see which blocks actually show up for resale per stadium.

Assuming ticket sales were uniform, listings should be spread across all blocks. But they're not.

Some stadiums are missing 40% of their blocks entirely across multiple games.

In Mexico City stadium: 87 blocks were never listed once across 5 games. sections 101-114, chunks of the 200s. Same in NYNJ.

Games in the Mexico City Stadium have recurring unlisted Blocks

Again, this assumes that resale is uniform and resembles ticket sales, which I find reasonable.
