Anyone have experience with Paula Moore in Birmingham for dysautonomia/POTS?

Has anyone here seen Paula Moore in Birmingham for dysautonomia/POTS type symptoms? My cardiologist did a tilt table test but it came back “normal,” even though I was really symptomatic during it and I don’t feel like I even got back to my true resting baseline before they started. My heart rate still jumped a lot and I felt dizzy/nauseous the whole time.

I’m still dealing with tachycardia when standing, dizziness, near fainting/fainting episodes, nausea, and exercise intolerance, so I decided to get another opinion. Just wondering if anyone has experience with Paula Moore and what appointments/testing are like with her.

Normal tilt table but still having POTS/dysautonomia symptoms + history of passing out

I’m really confused and frustrated right now. I had a tilt table test done because I’ve been having symptoms for months, but the report came back “unremarkable.” The report says my baseline HR was 92 bpm and there was only a “slight appropriate increase in HR,” but during the test I’m pretty sure my heart rate got up to around 119 and I felt awful the whole time.
My symptoms include:
dizziness/lightheadedness when standing
heart rate jumping up when I stand
nausea
abdominal pain
temperature regulation issues
bright lights bothering me
weakness/shakiness
near fainting feelings
I’ve also fully passed out 4 times before.
My watch repeatedly shows my HR in the 70s while laying down and then jumping into the 120s-130s after standing. For example, I’ve seen it go from around 78 bpm to 133 bpm shortly after standing.
The tilt table report says:
“Symptoms throughout with no hemodynamic correlate. No syncope.”
And the conclusion was:
“Unremarkable tilt table test.”
I know watches aren’t perfect, but this happens consistently and matches how I physically feel. Drinking more water and electrolytes has helped a little, but I’m still symptomatic every day.
Can you still have POTS or another form of orthostatic intolerance with a normal tilt table test? Has anyone else had normal testing but still ended up getting diagnosed later? I’m waiting to hear back from my cardiologist, but I honestly feel discouraged and confused right now.

I (19F) feel like I’m grieving after leaving my boyfriend (19M) for summer break

My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months, and we go to the same college. We spent almost every day together during the semester, so going from seeing him constantly to suddenly being 4.5 hours away has hit me way harder than I expected.

I moved out yesterday and I genuinely have not stopped crying. I woke up crying this morning too. I miss him so much that I physically feel sick. My chest hurts, I’ve had a headache, I feel nauseous, and everything feels empty now that I’m back home. It honestly feels like I’m grieving something even though we didn’t break up.

What’s making it worse is that during Thanksgiving break and winter break, we argued because his communication honestly sucked sometimes. He would get busy with friends or doing other things and I would end up overthinking and feeling ignored. Before summer started, we talked about it seriously and he promised he would do better this time. We agreed to FaceTime at least twice a week and stay more connected.

But yesterday was literally our first day apart and he already went to hang out with his friend while I’ve been crying nonstop since leaving campus. And now my brain keeps convincing me that maybe he doesn’t miss me as much as I miss him. I know people process emotions differently, but it’s hard not to compare when I feel completely devastated and he seems fine.

I really do love him and want this relationship to survive the summer. I’m just scared of us drifting apart or falling back into the same communication issues we had during previous breaks.

For college couples that only do long distance during breaks/summer, how did you keep the relationship healthy? How did you stop overthinking communication and feeling like your partner cared less than you did?

TL;DR: I just moved home for summer break and feel completely devastated being away from my boyfriend after seeing him every day at college. We’ve had communication problems during past breaks, and now I’m scared long distance is going to make us drift apart even though we both want it to work.

I had mine done Friday at the hospital and it’s now Wednesday and I still don’t have results in my portal. I messaged my cardiologist yesterday and they said tilt table tests can take a while because the hospital has to send them over first and they’ll call me when they receive it.

I’m just wondering what the normal timeline is for other people because waiting is stressing me out. How long did yours take to come back?
