Hello everyone! This goes out to the freshman or transfers for this upcoming fall! If you are commuting please please bring a portal charger or a charger you can connect to your car. As well make sure to have a/c on if you are traveling 10am to 5pm it’s really hot and your phone can get overheated. Having your phone charged and cool will help the battery life while you use maps or gps. It can be scary to drive to a place you’ve never driven to and having yourself be prepared is the best thing you can do! Best of luck to everyone new and have a great semester!

Hello everyone! A week ago my owed balance went to zero and now it went up to 900 or so is anyone else also dealing with this? ( I am going to call finical aid Monday) I just wanted to know if anyone else had this issue.

Hi everyone! Unfortunately, the timing isn’t great, but I’ll be traveling out of state from September 3rd through September 9th to visit my family, whom I haven’t seen in a long time. I bought these tickets about two months ago, before I realized they would overlap with the start of the semester.

My academic advisors recommended that I email my professors, which I have already done, but they also mentioned that some may not respond yet since it’s still summer.

Has anyone been in a similar situation where they had to miss about a week of classes at the beginning of the semester? If so, how did it go, and how did your professors handle it? I’m especially curious about lab classes, since I know those can be harder to make up.

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

So I have to retake a class this fall, but I commute, and I don’t think it’s in my best interest to drive to campus just for one class every other day (it’s on Mondays and Wednesdays).

I already have classes on Thursdays and Fridays. Friday is a 3-hour lab that I have to attend, and Thursday I have both a lab and a regular class.
Do you guys think professors would care if I didn’t come to the Monday/Wednesday class as long as attendance isn’t mandatory? Would it be worth explaining that it’s the only class I’m taking on those days and that, financially, commuting just for that one class isn’t ideal? I still have to take it because it’s a prerequisite that unlocks a lot of the other classes on my flowchart.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did your professor respond?

How soon do you have to pay for the classes you are taking for summer? I don’t want to pay for something I haven’t received yet. My classes haven’t been made available to me as of right now and I want to check the syllabus before I make a payment for the classes.

How soon do you get added to the canvas? I’m trying to see the syllabus before I pay for the classes but I haven’t even added yet and I know first day starts I think 15-16th.

Hello all!

Unfortunately I did not pass my 1210 lecture exam but did pass lab. When registration period was open I saw the lecture was open as well but now that grades are in the class is gone. Would I need to contact the bio department? Or is there a reason why I don’t see the class anymore?

Hi everyone! I’m new but have been addicted for a few weeks now. I bough the 2x income to save for a TIV 2 but I’m now considering buying the trucking job for more money. To anyone who has both and got the tiv 2 or just saves money how long did it take you and would you say it’s a good value?

Are summer classes covered by FASFA?

I HATE professors who do not update grades after 3 weeks of taking a test and assignments. I have 1 professor who hasn’t even graded any assignments after 2 months already. When anyone ask he doesn’t respond if you email same thing. Unfortunately he is rated poorly but was my only option for this semester I don’t even know if I’m failing or passing the class. Just wanted to rant 💔 anyone else have similar pet peeves?
