Easier texts that are accessible to beginners?

Hey everyone,

I've been learning Sanskrit for quite some time. I am at a point where I feel like I have mastered verbal and nominal morphology fairly well, have knowledge of prefixes and compounds and have internalised a basic, core vocabulary.

I'm looking for easy-sh texts that deal with things I like reading about: medicine, astronomy, plays, love and relationships, etc that are not too long and are not too difficult for a beginner armed with basic knowledge, a dictionary and patience. Cheers

Questions on carb cycling and fasted training

Hi guys, a couple of quick questions. I'd like to get your inputs on:

  1. I lift 3 times a week, and the conditioning protocol I follow has me doing 2 to 3 times a week of what could be called "high intensity conditioning" (a blend of aerobic sessions, anaerobic sessions and work capacity sessions) and 1 steady state session per week or every other week.

In this case, how would you structure the carb cycling approach - keeping in mind, I'm trying to lose fat for the time being? The book says to eat higher carbs on lifting days AND high intensity conditioning days, but that would basically have me eat "normally" 5 to 6 days a week.

There is the option of doing some of the work after lifting sessions, to accommodate more days of lower carbs and higher fats.

  1. I train early in the morning in a fasted state. I am used to this and I have been making great progress this way. Does the old recommendation of getting BCAAs still work, if one intends to keep a fasting window between 13 and 21? Feels weird not to have carbs immediately after training, when insuline sensitivity is at its highest after 8+ hours of fasting and focused effort.

How do you early birds structure your day?

Thanks in advance for your inputs, cheers.

Good gyms in Krakow

Hi everyone, question for the gym rats among you. I'll be staying in Krakow next month until September. I'll be staying in the Kazimierz area.

I'm looking for a decent gym, possibly open 24/7. I do oly weightlifting so something with more than one squat rack would be great.

Got any suggestions and names to check out? What are the monthly rates for subscription in Poland? Thanks in advance.

Preparazione per la facoltà di matematica

Ciao a tutti.

Questo settembre tornerò all'università.

Question for those of you writing for royalties/equity

Hiya,

Half of 26 is already gone and usually this time of the year I do some Summer cleaning in my career and life.

I've been writing copy for a while, sometimes with success, sometimes without it. Looking ahead, I want to try new things and I am at a point where I feel comfortable asking for royalties on my direct response pieces.

How do you guys structure them? How do you make sure you're not being cheated on? How do you avoid, six or twelve months from delivery, getting the business owner bored and trying to find ways to cut you out, since you're eating a piece of the pie constantly?

Bonus questions go for those who have worked in exchange of equity. Any tips on how to approach this and how to structure the deal? Do you get paid in dividends or wait a while before selling your share? What does your weekly hour set up look like?

Mostly looking for experiences and tips. I got bored of being the employee freelancer and want to make the jump to being the entrepreneurial freelancer.

Strength Endurance BB and muscle loss question

Hey everyone,

In a couple of weeks I'll start my fifth run of yearly base building. During the first two I did Strength Endurance first, and during the other two I did the lifting first variation. I am a civilian, so I figured I didn't need SE for my goals.

Coincidentally, I'm starting my BB alongside a trip in another country. The place I'm staying at has a gym, but the equipment is limited (7kg barbells that can hold at most 80kg), therefore, I figured I might do a SE run for the 5 weeks I am staying there.

There's always the option of getting a proper gym membership, but I'd rather not spend the extra money unless extremely necessary.

For those of you who have been training seriously for a few years and gained significant mass, did you notice any loss in muscle tissue during the first five weeks? I already take it for granted that my numbers are going to take a hit, but body composition matters most at this stage; strength is quick to return for me.

Edit: to add, I'm planning on running a cluster based on push ups, trx facepulls, db leg curls, sit ups and Zercher squats with 60kg. Before the SE session begins, I'm also planning to perform a giant set of 10 minutes with weighted chin ups since they shouldn't interfere with the rest of the training.

Hey guys,

Just wondering, if any of you have worked with "bigger fishes", how much did you charge per project/retainer?

Been working with small fishes and mid-sized businesses so far; I feel kinda like a fish out of water.
