...never disappoints in August. What a glorious week of sunshine in the high 70's.

I wanted to drop this in here as notice for those that worry about whether they should take their guitar on vacation to the beach or camping.

Sadie is absolutely the sweetest and most caring dog we've had. Her intuition is uncanny.

My mom has advanced dementia and has had some really tough days this week. I decided it was best if I stayed at my parents house tonight and decided to bring Sadie over.

I had my mom ride with me to pick her up and from the moment she saw my mom she shifted into super gentle, watchful mode. When we got our of the car Sadie came over very slowly and gently sat at my mom's feet mirin. Extra careful not to bump into mom or do anything that might be startling.

Now Sadie is on the couch with me so she can have a direct line of sight to my mom and keep an eye on everything.

Without a doubt, the BEST breed ever!

The first print in a kind of extended triptic that included this print, the fall tour print, and the NOLA Halloween print. Different perspectives of the same scene.

This one is the blue variant 19/35. I really wish I could get a good pic of the paper but it's not possible. The paper is almost metallic looking when the light hits at the right angle.

Framing by Further Frames, Denver, CO. The scroll in the frame is almost an identical match to the scrolling around the image.

... trying to use the jedi mind trick to get some of the horchata frappucino I'm drinking. What started as a little humor to see how she would react to coffee turned her into a straight fiend. Hot, cold, doesn't matter. She wants it!

This is a brilliant use of foil imo. Great print, phenomenal show.

Posting this one up since that really shitty low-res rip was posted a few weeks ago.

At the time this print was using a brand new holographic stamping process for parts of the image instead of SS our giclee. The holo effect is phenomenal, as is the print in general. This particular copy is signed by DuBois. Most were sold without a sig.

I didn't attend FtW because of some dumb reasons so this can be available is anyone is interested. Stored flat since purchase.

Widespread Panic 2011 Spring Tour print by Chuck Sperry. I consider that to be their best post-Mikey tour and absolutely LOVE this print. His ladies had already started catching on and there was some major disappointment in the poster collector community that this wasn't one in that line.

The eye fry color combo, the intensity of the colors overall, and the background of stars as a nod to WP stage lighting make this one a home run in my book.

So I've got these 4 amps and a bass head that I'm trying to decide what to do with. They are;

Ampeg V4 Bass head - function unknown, roadside rescue

Kalamazoo Bass 50 - functional but very quiet, roadside rescue

Line 6 Spider II - functional

Marshall Lead 12 - functional

Crate RFX15 - functional

The catch is i don't even play electric guitar, and haven't had a need to amp my acoustic in ~25 years other than to mess around.

I'm considering restoring the Ampeg and Kzoo. I would likely sell it give the Ampeg to a bass player i know. From what I've read the Kzoo is a terrible bass amp but it might sound nice using it for an acoustic guitar. The 2nd pic are the tubes in the Ampeg. If the glass has a mirrored spot does that mean it's shot? It also has a blown fuse so I haven't plugged it in at all.

I know that model of Marshall has regained some love in the community lately. It really just needs a good cleaning

The Line 6 and Crate, I'm not sure. The Crate is the only one I bought myself just for dicking around years ago.

I doubt i would get much in the way of trade in value for the 3 small amps. Kzoo and Ampeg, maybe, maybe not.

This is a reprint, hand finished with watercolors by Mouse from Mouse Studios. Original print was black/gold.

This is without a doubt my all time favorite concert poster. So simple yet so perfect. Ingenious use of the integral elements of the location.

I picked this up just after Mouse had a stroke a few years ago. I was afraid he would be done with art if he recovered. I'm so happy that's not how it turned out.
