My music sucks and its beginning to take a hit on me

I've been making beats since last august in 2025 but have been doing it consistently since about 3-4 months and I haven't made a single beat that I'm satisfied with yet and it kind of frustrates me. Everything I've been making recently has been sounding like a videogame soundtrack which is NOT the sound I'm going for. I want to make a more experimental/alternative rap sound (I know this beat isn't any of that but its my most recent beat that I'm at least a little proud of) At least this sounds okay but it doesn't sound like anything that's not straight from Wii sports or rocketleague. Idk I've had the fear that I'm just not made for music in general and that I should accept that and not do anything with it and stay unsatisfied.

Idk man, it's been frustrating and I'm kind of embarrassing myself when people ask me to hear my music since I'm already in the music industry just not releasing music. ANY tips / recommendations would help. Be honest and tell me if I should just straight up stop and focus on different things or just continue and follow the process. Sitting hours on end behind logic or fl just to make music that gets called RL music or Wii sports music is just way too demotivating so I need some real advice.

Might i add that everytime i make music it doesnt really have a real body. I just make whatever happens in the moment but i feel like that isn‘t really good and productive when in trying to actually MAKE music instead of creating it by accidents.

Thank you.

Need help with weird monitor glitch

So…one day while i was gaming my monitor randomly got this streak pattern across it and distorts all the colours. No hitting it, nothing. Just. randomly.

I’ve tried seeing if the displayport cable was the problem but it wasnt. Tried seeing if the monitor needed updates but that also didn‘t work. I can’t display anything atm since i dont have my pc right now but this problem has been like this for about a few months. Is it time for a new monitor or is it still salvagable?

I’m going to pick up my pc today so i can sjow it with it on.

Is a 40W reciever good to listen to music in my bedroom?

hi, i am about to buy the Kenwood KR-A4020 reciever and don’t have speakers yet.

My question was if it is good enough to blast music in my room and what speakers would you recommend?

I want speakers who are loud enough that my neighbours are going to complain but that its still clear enough as to where its listenable and not hear all the vocals muffled.

Possibly getting a subwoofer in the future but as of now im not going to. My budget is around 100 euros and i want to buy it second hand because second hand hi-fi and music stuff rocks.

edit: I’m a complete hi-fi newbie so if there are any dumb remarks or questions please go light on me.
