When the eventual decompilation of the DS titles come out, would it be possible to port them to the Wii, similar to the Ace Attorney series? Instead of the top-bottom alignment, the bottom screen could be picture-in-picture, and Wii-DS connectivity could be utilized for trading.
I'm not an expert on this stuff but tell me what you think.
And NOT just PMD, although that's the only series I've played in the genre so for me it's gonna be Explorers of Sky (vs Rescue Team, so not exactly a hard decision. I've only played those two so far). I know it's generic, but if you have any suggestions for me outside of PMD let me know
It's been 6 years since Rescue Team DX, and a FULL DECADE since the last "original" PMD game (being Super). When (if at all) will they make a new PMD game?

We get a new game (maybe EoS remake) for the 20th anniversary of Sky in 2029 (or 2028 for Time/Darkness).
Or the series is done, or at least on hiatus. It's a great series, but it's just not making the cut for sales (at least to Chunsoft and Game Freak). True, Chunsoft has their hands full with other MD games, but maybe Game Freak doesn't feel it's profitable enough to make a new game.
These are a few of my ideas, but I'm wondering what everyone else thinks.
Specifically, who would you want to be (or who do you think you'd get), who would you want as a partner, and which game's storyline would you want to be in? How would you react to the new world?
Personally, I'd be Charmander with Pikachu in Rescue Team, like my first playthrough. I would definitely be shocked (probably freak out a LOT), knowing that I was a human turned into a Pokemon.
Hands down, this is one of the best stories I've played. I've mostly played Nintendo games, but this one has such an emotional story that it's unbelievable.
I started a few months ago when I discovered it on my used 3DS. Gave it a try, and immediately loved it. I was "Char" (the Charmander) and my partner was Pika (the Pikachu). We were in Team Helpers (I wasn't very creative on what to name myself at the time) and it was great.
The parts I loved the most were the >!Fugitive Arc (Made me not like Gengar)!<and the ending. >!Stopping the literal destruction of the world, from an ASTEROID!<is amazing. And the last part of the ending, >!where you turn into a spirit and fly off into the distance, (only to be brought back by the power of friendship)!<is AMAZING. Made me cry a little bit actually.
Overall, an amazing game, definitely would recommend. Going to play EoS next.
So I was playing Red Rescue Team, and I am to the point where I am collecting chestnuts for the Mankey to rebuild my team base. I go to Uproar Forest to look for some, and on the third floor I hit a monster house.
This was my first monster house ever, but the room it was in was pretty small, so it wasn't that much of a problem. But it definitely jumpscared me, I wasn't paying attention and it was 11 at night. Then two floors later, I hit another one. This one was harder since it was a bigger room, me and my teammate were poisoned, and we were a good distance away from the stairs. Still beat it. Guess what happens three floors later.
ANOTHER FUCKING MONSTER HOUSE. This time it was the room I spawned in, and as soon as I saw how big it was (and it wasn't the failsafe monster house if dungeon generation fails, since there were other rooms) I just sighed. Thankfully the stairs were pretty close, but during that fight I lost the recruit I made in the room before it.
The worst part? I didn't even get ONE FUCKING CHESTNUT. NOT ONE.
I am now afraid of any big room and Uproar Forest in general.
Do you think that PMD should've had more representation in the other Pokemon media?
I know there were those animated specials in the anime, but that's kinda it. I would have loved to see a spinoff series or even a manga that sort of follows the plot of Red/Blue Rescue Team or Explorers of Sky. Plus it could have made the series more popular as a whole.
So I just patched my Wii with the competition patcher (RIP my old tournament) and accidentally forgot to enable message services in my disc. So I went back, launched the disc from the disc channel, and ran the patcher again. The first time it said "Unable to patch message service! Are you sure the service is turned on?" However, the second time it didn't mention the service at all. Did it successfully patch the board?

Okay, first off, I'm sorry if I don't give enough info in advance, because I am really freaking out right now.
This all started when I tried to get the GameCube startup in USBLoaderGX. I already had a iplusa.bin file, and I tried to put it in the folders. It didn't work. Then after researching I found a Reddit post where the iplusa had to be on the USB drive (I'm using USB HDD and SD card). After putting it there (and deleting it off the SD) I got a DSI exception for the GCN game I launched. After deleting that off the USB drive, it still gave me the error. I'm starting to panic a bit at this point, so I left it off for a few hours (I had something else to do).
Then, after I got done with that, I updated the Nintendont boot.dol. Still nothing. Reset all the configurations in USBLoader. Nope. Then I did the stupidest thing in my entire life. I replaced the boot.dol, meta.xml, and icon.png for USBLoaderGX. Now it shows a DSI exception on startup from both Wii Menu (I have it as a channel) and the Homebrew Channel.
So, to summarize: I fucked up USBLoaderGX by replacing the boot.dol, meta.xml, and icon.png in apps/usbloadergx and now it throws a DSI exception. I don't know what to do from here, so ANY help at all would be extremely appreciated.
