What are we all wearing that requires no ironing?

We adopted a toddler, ran through all our clothes and then lived in non iron gym clothes for a few weeks.

There is absolutely no time to iron and no way I’m spending my already negative reserve of energy on that. What are you all wearing these days?

Is there a brand of clothing in the UK that’s non iron, smart casual?

Advice on sending adopted child to nursery

My little one is 19 months old and has had no interaction with other children her age for her whole life.

She’s been with us for two months and it’s really obvious that she needs some time with other kids (eg from interactions at the park and rhyme times we’ve been to). I want to give her a couple of sessions at nursery so she can learn in a structured high quality setting and learn how to play with other children.

Other adopters tell me Childrens’ social workers don’t like nursery for adopted kids. She has been with us two months and is very attached to both of us.

Social workers worry about attachment but his social worker hasn’t been to see him much and I think all they would be basing a ‘no’ on is time. Social workers don’t seem to spend enough time to see the attachment we have already.

Does anyone have any experience in this area?

Nursery would also help me to adjust to parenthood better. I am burning out after two months of toddlerhood and could really use a few hours a week for myself. Just a session or two.

Does anyone know how to turn this ickle bubba seat?

I’ve just spent an hour trying but can’t figure it out! All the videos online make it look like you easily press something and the seat comes off.

Does anyone know what you press?! I’ve tried pressing the round button closest to the seat and it only allows the seat to go up and down, not disconnect so I can turn it.

Please help!

Is this a problem and what should it cost to fix?

l've had a damp smell in an upstairs bedroom, and several roofers round to see what the problem is.

Three different diagnoses, with the valley most common. Do these pictures of the valley look like they would let in water?

Two options have been suggested:

  1. repointing both sides of the valley (no removing tiles)
  2. render both sides of the valley

Are these the same thing?
Quotes have been £350 to £2378.

All have said the work would be a couple of hours to a day.
What's reasonable?
