Do you think this conflict was on a scale and level of complexity far beyond anything we can realistically imagine?

Earlier in the timeline, during the war between Earth and Mars, it’s implied that highly advanced AI-controlled drones were already being used. If that’s the case, could the later war between the Star People and the Qu have involved even more advanced autonomous weapons, such as next-generation drone fleets or even star-destroying weapons?

What do you think the technology and scale of that war might have been like?

The world of Cruelty Squad is undeniably bizarre and unsettling. It features a hyper-capitalist society and a grotesquely evolved biopunk setting, but what stands out the most are things like the disturbing appearance of MT’s handler and the walls covered with human-like faces, all of which create a strong sense of unease.

This made me wonder: do ordinary people in the world of Cruelty Squad actually see these things the same way we do? Or is the world only portrayed this way because MT is mentally unstable, causing everything around them to appear so strange and disturbing?

I've recently been watching videos about Syria, and I've noticed that many women are not wearing the hijab.

This made me wonder whether religious dress codes are relatively relaxed in Syria. On the other hand, I've also heard that in recent years there have been stricter regulations on swimwear at public beaches, such as restrictions on revealing bathing suits.

Taking that into account, how common is it for women to wear the hijab in Syria today? Is it something that most women wear, or does it vary significantly depending on the region and the local culture?

I've been hearing that Europe has been experiencing an intense heatwave recently.

That made me wonder: is it also very hot in Syria at the moment, even if not to the same extent as Europe? Or is it actually relatively cool there right now?

The cars in Cruelty Squad are incredibly unsettling. They look strangely organic, and for some reason, they even appear to have human intestines inside the driver's compartment.

My interpretation is that the Emperor’s Soul represents the qualities or potential of a ruler. In the subsequent conversation with LIFE, the mindset of the CEO—the emperor of this world—is discussed in greater detail.

My interpretation may overlap with other theories, but this is how I understand the concept of the Emperor’s Soul.

The world of CAL is generally quite dark and bleak. One of the most striking aspects of the setting is the role played by corporations.

These companies sell a soda that causes serious health problems, yet they are fully aware of its effects and actively work to cover them up while continuing to market and distribute the product.

They also spread false claims about "parasites" in order to justify sealing off apartment complexes for their own benefit. When incidents or escape attempts occurred within those quarantined buildings, agents were dispatched to systematically destroy evidence and cover up what had happened.

Because of these elements, I see the world of CAL as being somewhat similar to a cyberpunk setting, where corporations wield enormous power and influence over society.

For that reason, I hope the upcoming sequel will place a greater spotlight on these corporations and explore their role in the world in more detail.
