Didn't complete jee criteria in 2026 from hsc board ?

I know you are feeling low due to this sudden suprise but i have a complete guide (A to Z) for you

Lets start from beginning,I was a 2025 jee aspirant scored 96.6%ile in jee mains and 98.6%ile in mhtcet, didn't qualify jee advanced (scored 46 marks) and thus now a dropper

What happened to me was, i expected that i will score above 80% in boards easily but reality was i only scored 72.5% and top 20 percentile marks for 2025 was 361

{If somebody don't know how to calculate top 20%ile,then follow these steps

Add [Eng+P+C+M+(fifth subject marks)]

For CS as fifth subject divide the marks that you got from 200 by 2

For ex:- if in your marksheet your cs marks is 150/200 then take 150/2=75 marks and add them in your fifth subject marks then you will get your top 20 percentile marks

Now you may be wondering when this top 20 percentile marks will be released,it will release after exact 3 days from your hsc result

For ex:- in 2025, hsc result were released on 5 may and top 20 percentile was released on 8 may amd same happened in 2024.}

And i scored 359 marks only 2 marks less

So i applied for revaluation process on 8 may, that is through this process i will get my hsc board answer sheet pdf back (please choose email option while applying for revaluation)

and it almost took a month in my case,it is not necessary it will come after 1 month but ig in 2025 there were much more requests for revaluation than 2024 thus it took more time.

My papers came on 6 june and afterwards you have to check the papers with the help of your teachers in college and yes it is essential to check it with help of your teacher,you can't do it yourself cause after checking the paper you have to fill a form where you have to mention the question, marks given and marks expected to increase in the form itself and stamp from the college is necessary....

I forgot to mention that there is only 5 days time after you got your papers to submit the photo of the form i told earlier

For ex:- if your pdf of papers come on 6 june then you have to submit on 10 june not 11 june

In those 5 days you have to go to college, consult with teachers about the question or section where marks can probably increase and write down the topics i mentioned earlier on the form and submit it on the same website where you applied for revaluation

But there is a rule that if there will be increase of altogether 5 marks in revaluation (rechecking) then only they will consider the change,so atleast find areas where you can get minimum 5 marks increase

I mean it can be

2 in maths+2 in physics+1 in chem

Or

it can be for only 1 subject like 5 marks in computer science

After your form is submitted,pray your marks get increased because what happened to me after this much efforts was that 4 marks was increased in computers science but 4 marks got decreased in physics

So in short there was no increase of marks in my case

It is not necessary that there will be no increase of marks in every case

One of my friend got 16 marks incremented

Now if your marks doesn't increase, apply for june improvement straight up and prepare for it ,now as you have got your papers you can analyse the mistake and prepare accordingly.

In 2025 , improvement exam were from june 24 to july 16 and result came on 29 july (today when I am writing this post)

Now for improvement exam part, people feel it is impossible to increase marks in improvement but it can very easily done

For ex:- i increased my percentage from 72.5% to 81.5%

And yes july papers have exactly same difficulty as feb , saying this because people say july paper is difficult
