Hi everyone!!!
This sweet dog showed up in my backyard on July 31st. He was full of ticks and flees, really sad situation.
We took him in and have been caring for him since.
I live in a rural area near Lewisburg, TN and the local shelter here unfortunately kills dogs after a period of time or for certain reasons. I contacted a local non profit organization and they said they were going to take him in, but they keep their dogs outside in a little square enclosure in a 100 degree weather and I just couldn’t surrender him.
However, I already have 5 cats, 2 kids and I’m pregnant with my third. Even though I’d love to keep him, I don’t have the time and the mental capacity to offer him what he needs. He is just a puppy, and he needs lots of exercise.
I am just looking for ideas of places I could take him. I posted his pictures in 4 groups on Facebook and it wasn’t successful. None of my family/friends wanted him unfortunately.
I’d appreciate any help!!
Also, if you guys have any information about what breed/mix he looks like, that would help to share his story. Google says he might be a McNab mix, but I’m not sure.
Thank you so much for everything ❤️
