Nu Holdings Announces US$1.0 Billion Share Repurchase Program!

https://international.nubank.com.br/company/nu-holdings-announces-us1-0-billion-share-repurchase-program/

Nu Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: NU) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a share repurchase program of up to US$1.0 billion of the Company’s Class A ordinary shares, to be conducted over a 12-month period beginning June 4, 2026.

The program is the output of a deliberate capital allocation policy. Nu’s operations are now generating significant capital, and the Board determined that repurchasing the Company’s shares represents an attractive use of that capital. All growth investments across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and the United States, including regulatory capital buffers, remain fully funded and unchanged.

This is just 7% of their Total Cash On Hand ($16.1 Billion), but it is still a significant amount for an approx. $55 Billion Market Cap, and just for 12 months.

Nubank appoints Bob Livingston as CFO, succeeding Guilherme Lago

Here are the most imported parts of this press release: https://international.nubank.com.br/company/nubank-appoints-rob-livingston-as-chief-financial-officer/

Nubank today announced the appointment of Rob Livingston as Chief Financial Officer, effective July 13, succeeding Guilherme Lago, who is transitioning to the role of Special Advisor.

Rob Livingston brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services across North America, Europe and Asia. He joins Nubank from Visa, where he recently served as CFO for North America, the company’s largest business.

“I’m excited to be joining Nubank. What this team has built in only 13 years is truly extraordinary, but the opportunity ahead is even brighter and I’m extremely excited to be part of the next steps of Nu’s journey. At Nubank, my focus will continue to be on superb execution of the finance organization, optimizing capital allocation, and supporting Nu’s next stage of growth”, says Livingston.

The group will also have a dedicated Chief Financial Officer for Brazil role, completing a global and local finance leadership structure already established in Mexico and Colombia.

Is this a bad sign? Any thoughts on the previous CFO leaving after 7 years at Nubank?

Thank you all for this amazing community! ❤️

Just over 8 months ago, i was looking for a reddit community for Nu Holdings, but i couldn't find any. So as a completely normal human being, i decided to start a community myself just 2 days before an exam (which i failed). There were probably better things to spend my time on...

Fast forward, yet again, i am in my exam period, and i get a notification: "r/NuStock reached 1000 weekly visitors". So i had to write this post to thank all of you for posting, commenting, and even just reading these posts.

Just a few weeks after launching this community, i found out that there was i fact an existing Nu Holdings community (r/Nu_Holdings), but due to the underscore, i couldn't find it.

Finding out about that other community, and seeing how dead it was only motivated me more to make this community work out.

Comparison against competition:

- r/Nu_Holdings: 236 weekly visitors

- r/NuBankAmerica: 55 weekly visitors

If you read all of this, thank so so much, but don't forget to do something usefull wirh your time too 🤣

Note: i'll take my own advice and study some more, i probably spent half an hour on this...

$NU Q1 2026 Earnings Are Coming - Here's What Analysts Expect!

Nu Holdings reports Q1 2026 earnings on May 14th, after market close. Here's what the street is expecting:

Revenue: $4.97B (+53% YoY) — up from $4.86B last quarter

EPS: $0.20 (+82% YoY) — up from $0.18 last quarter

Customers: 136.4M (+15% YoY) — up from 131M last quarter

These would be absolutely MONSTER numbers. For context, last year they grew revenue 39% YoY and grew total customers 15%. This company grows like a startup, but with a $60B+ Market Cap.

Still trading at ~17-18x forward P/E while growing EPS at 80%+ YoY...

You guys adding, holding or trimming going into earnings?
