I fucking hate eBay’s new ai system. For the THIRD time, my listing for K9 Advantix II Flea & Tick Treatment for Dogs was just removed as “counterfeit” and my account was restricted for ten days!

I don’t get it. I included a TON of pictures of the actual product. They aren’t counterfeit. They never have been. I don’t even think they can be counterfeited. And it’s not like I’m selling Rolex watches and Louis Vuitton. They’re $40 boxes of flea treatment. What the actual fuck??!!!!

Update: just spoke to customer service. They don’t care. Told me to wait out the ten days. I’m going to have to leave eBay and start looking for an alternative. I can’t keep losing money just because they have a bullshit system that wants to punish people without any supporting evidence.

I’ve been using 5% across the board on every listing, and had good results but it’s really adding up over time. So does anyone have any experience with the minimum 2% ?

As most of you already know, typically, as a felon, you lose your right to vote. Even for non-violent, trivial felonies. And afterward, the world works against you even more: it’s harder to find employment, rent an apartment, get insurance, etc. So I have a way you can fight back:

Constitutionally, everyone (even felons) have a right against taxation without representation. So if a felon can’t vote, thus take part in choosing their representation, why should they have to pay taxes?

Stop paying! If anyone questions it, that’s a great argument! The road goes both way people! If they can take away right because you’re a felon, they can’t really argue about taking your responsibility’s away either.

This is a logically sound.

So each month for work I travel to multiple stores of the same company. Next month, for example, I’ll travel to Nevada and go to every Walmart in the state. Prior to the trip, I have to tediously save each Walmart location in Apple Maps. I think use Apple Maps to guide me from store to store (usually to whichever is the closest). As I visit each store I unsave them, leaving only the stores I haven’t been to yet remaining.

There has to be an easier way of doing this. Perhaps Siri or another app, but so far I haven’t found anything. So do anyone know of a way that I could save multiple stores in an area at the same time? (Like, save every Walmart location in a state?)

So I recently bought my first rc excavator (Diecast Masters 1:20 scale 330DL). Got a great deal on it; normally they go for $1,000; but I got mine used/mint condition for $500. Looks like parts are hard to find, though I haven’t seen anything negative online so I’m assuming it’s built to last(?).

Each year, my family goes to Myrtle Beach, and I’m thinking about taking it with me to play in the sand. But I’ve read online that sand is very hard on remote control vehicles. One site says to use it only on damp sand to avoid it getting inside.

So what’s your advice?

After seeing several videos posted here and elsewhere online, I’m curious. What stores —for certain— have a hands-on policy?

Just got my SDS100. Already registered, updated, etc. What upgrade keys should I get? Are any unnecessary? (I travel each month state to state).

Anyone know if Dunham’s Sports allows hands-on action when dealing with shoplifters?

I’m thinking about upgrading from the SDS100 to the SDS150. I have a few questions I’m hoping current SDS150 owners can answer:

1. How well does the U/AWARE app work with the device?

2. Is an extra battery needed for travel?

3. How long would a battery last on an eight hour road trip?

4. Can the device be charged while in the car and still operate? (I read online that it will not scan when charging with USBc).

Any other additional information you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

I sell in bulk (the same items over and over again). As such, I’ve always used the manufacturer’s pictures for items instead of taking and uploading my own pictures. Personally, I believe it looks more professional to use the manufacturer photos. But what’s your thoughts?

Just had two items deactivated by eBay’s AI for “violating policy” (they don’t). I’ve sold hundreds of these items with no issues whatsoever. 99.8% positive feedback. 2.7k items sold. The same items are still up with other sellers.

To the point that eBay is now monitoring their listings like Amazon does, and takes Amazon level fees for using the eBay platform (while we do all of the work), I think it’s time to switch over to something else. At least with Amazon, for the amount they charge, they do all of the shipping and work for me! I only ever used eBay for items I’ve had trouble getting brand approval for on Amazon, but now eBay is basically doing the same thing! Their reliance on AI may be what brings eBay down for good.

Update: Immediately appealed, and was immediately denied. Just relisted the items (losing 40+ watchers).

Many of you may not know that eBay uses a tier system when generating USPS labels (at four, eight, twelve and sixteen ounces). What this means is if you sell and ship a lot of two ounce items, even if you generate a correct two ounce label, you’re being charged for four ounces. Likewise, if you have a five ounce item, you’ll be charged for eight ounces. It always goes up to the next highest tier.

This is a big deal. It adds, in most cases, an extra dollar of shipping cost per item! Overtime, that’s hundreds to thousands of dollars in unnecessary and extra costs!

If anyone knows of a way around this, please chime in.

As the title states, I’m a professional shoplifter, and probably the best. I have been active since 2016. I have never been caught or even suspected. I travel across the United States, usually one state at a time, go to 15-20 stores each day I work, and generate anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 per day (of course, the merchandise has to sell first which takes time). I know everything possible about each store I go to, the products, loss prevention, security devices, and I use both high tech counter-surveillance and low tech gear to do what I do (some of which is purely psychological).

Next year, however, I intend to retire. Accordingly, whether you’re a loss prevention agent, store owner, fellow shoplifter, or simply curious, ask me anything.
