Coming home from work, I saw a group of people putting up this beautiful memorial for Hanna Wegayehou. She was 61 years old and killed last month in the still unsolved hit and run. I live in the neighborhood and believe it was someone who lives in the community. I hope justice is served and the person comes forward. Currently there is a 20k reward for information leading to an arrest.
Came home to this today and I’m excited to get an upgrade on my current rig. My husband mentioned this to me yesterday and I didn’t expect for him to actually go out and buy it. My 2019 build has been holding up well and my husband has been upgrading it since about 2023. Got a new GPU recently to play Final Fantasy 16. This will be a nice upgrade from my current ryzen 5 3600x.
Edit: we are super lucky as we live 20 minutes from a microcenter and within an hour from the other two nearby.
Note: I have been natural since 2018! I know some might ask if I have a relaxer (bc sometimes my stylist’s other clients ask!) I do not and will never go back 💀
It’s summer! So it’s “natural style” time. Silk press season is officially over. I have usually done my natural styles with half up/half down braids in the front and diffused my curls, but it’s still so much maintenance for me and one day I will get more patient! (see third pic). I was telling my hair stylist to just blowdry and do the braids as usual and I really like this to be honest.
