Cassandra Railly is such a fascinating character, people started talking about how sudden her change was between season 1 and 2, but I've watched the show five times now, and I don't agree with the " sudden" part, she always had a mean front that she used whenever she didn't want to get hurt, or was hurt.
You can see it in the finale of season 1, after Aaron died, instead of being sad about it, or taking time to process it, she directly moves on to the mission, thinking that once the mission succeeds nothing else will matter. Then before going inside the facility, cole clearly tells her that Ramsey is different from what he remembers, and that he is dangerous, he also thinks he is the witness, and so when she enters the room and sees that cole won't shoot him, she thinks he's not thinking rationally after seeing his old friend and so she takes the shot.
Then after being sent to the future, where she stays for 8 months, surviving hell, that facade becomes even more strong, but due to how subtle Amanda's acting is, u never buy that it's her actual personality, like after coming to 2016 and she met cole after the 8 months time skip, she looks relieved with a smile on her face, then she again sees Jennifer, and she goes for the kill, to complete the mission, but again cole tries to talk her out of it, she sees that as an emotional response, when in fact cole is thinking rationally, and then to top it off she sees him working with who she thinks is either the witness or at least worked with the 12 monkeys for decades, she feels betrayed, her hole life went to shit, and the only person she would trust sided with the enemy.
She said it best later in the season, why she hates Ramsey, she said : " because the person I trusted the most, whom I sacrificed everything for, chose him over me" that's why she was so angry at Cole, not because he left her in the future or because he killed Aaron like she was vocally saying in the beginning of the season, these were all excuses.
And Cole sees right through her at the end of the season, he calls her out on it, saying that she acts though, and shuts down the moment she feels she is gonna get hurt, but all she's doing is running away.
We also saw the front break multiple times that season, when Cole gave her their 1944 picture, or when he told her "u think I don't know what I cost u ?", or even when she was like "there's no WE remember?" And then the moment he starts to explain himself she goes " we can go to titan together" .
I was frustrated when I first watched season 2, but I never got angry at her, or at the writers, because her writing was ON POINT, it made sense why she would act that way, and I feel sad to see ppl reduce that to " oh she became a boss bitch " like what ? I'm not even a feminist , I hate those tropes more than most ppl, and I can definitely say it's not the case here, there's real substance underneath that persona.
Guys, I think I found the worst take and review u can have on the show, not only that, but it's a review of one of the best episodes of the entire show " one minute more " 🤣🤣
Both yoasobi and Jennie were present at lollapalooza 2026, so for those who saw both, who was the better vocalist between ikura and Jennie in your opinion ? With arguments would be better .

Side note, but Shigeru Fujita draws Tenma so well, and has an amazing understanding of Urasawa's base designs, a shame he only drew him in episode 1 and the opening, at least his character designs sheets are available online to witness the full majesty of Tenma 🔥
Honestly ikura and yoasobi as a whole is the definition of a rockstar, she knows how to hype up the crowd like crazy, has immaculate aura and stage presence the moment a song starts, and her vocals are out of this world.
The best set in lollapalooza 2026 for me, easyyy, I also love how much effort she makes to communicate in a language that is not hers, instead of having interprets like a lot of artists do.
Ps: ikura being pretty is a nice plus ngl
Can we agree that this is ikura's best visuals to date, not to say she isn't pretty elsewhere cause she's always pretty, but the ginger hair gives her more personality and punk, plus the outfit here is sick, anyway am I the only one who thinks that??

Do u guys agree with these ratings ? Although it is great, in my opinion it should be higher ? Especially those 7 rated eps, they definitely can be up to 8, but I want to see your guy's opinion.
Also I've watched this show around 5 times from start to finish, and watched individual eps on occasions, so maybe I like the early eps more and understand them better after many rewatches
It's pretty seamless the way Cassie starts to address Cole by his first name, as soon as they become a thing, every time they are alone or it's a meaningful moment, she always calls him James.
I'm pretty sure 4x05 she only addresses him as James, as well as most of 4x10 and 4x11 except some scenes.

I always found it funny that Cassie later in the season is like "Cole don't blame yourself for me becoming ruthless and being sent in the future, I'm like this because of me" while in the earlier eps she kept throwing it out at him, saying that "who's fault I turned out this way" and stuff like that, although it's quite obvious she didn't mean any of it and was just angry at him because in her eyes he betrayed her, so I still found it weird I was like " girl u kept saying it to him, of course he's gonna blame himself, he would blame himself regardless sure, but u're not helping lol"
And although I was frustrated by her attitude, I couldn't get mad at her, because it was obvious that it was a façade to not get hurt again, like we see her façade is broken by the end of ep 2 briefly when he gives her their photo and saying he's ready for the mission, and then the moment he leaves, she crumbles and got emotional
I've seen a lot of ppl say that loid doesn't have feelings for Yor, and their reason is because he says it or thinks it in his head.
But here's the thing, nobody should take what this dude says at face value, he lies so much to other ppl and to himself, he GENUINELY believes he doesn't have feelings for Yor or Anya, but his actions always betrayed him, and that very early on, like during the parents interview in season 1, or at the end of the cruise ship arc, where he slips for a sec and says that he was neglecting his family again.
Honestly that's obvious, it's not even supposed to be debated in my opinion.
Other arguments I heard are mainly comparing Yor to Loid, they think that if he loved her that way, he should react like she does towards him, and this argument to me is even dumber lol, first different individuals tend to react differently and show their emotions in a different way, second she is a woman and he is a man, they are biologically gonna act different by nature, a woman is likely to be more vocal when it comes to her love for someone, a man would find it typically easier to show his love rather than say it ( obviously he can still say it, that's not what I'm saying, but i'm talking about what feels more natural to both genders) .
Anyway what do u guys think?? That's my opinion 🤔
I would never understand ppl who say that Thorfinn doesn't look good in season 2, I love the grown features Abiru sensei gave him, he still draws him kinda similar to his season 1 design, but still makes him look mature enough, plus he starts to resemble thors even more, especially the nose
