Whats it like donating plasma?

Ive been donating blood for a few years now and ive only ever done whole and double red but ive been wanting to expand my pallet ig lol. I just donated double again a couple weeks ago and have been wanting my next donation to be plasma but i honestly dont really know the difference. Genuinely id donate whatever as long as it helps someone out and im o+ so thats like most of the population lmao. Is the donating process itself any different? How long does it take? What sort of things does it help with? Whats the recovery process like?

Best hiking shorts recommendations for thicc women

Hi ladies! Im a camp counselor and this years season is starting soon and im in desperate need of shorts recommendations. We hike *so* much and i feel like no matter what shorts i wear they ride up on the insides and if i dont catch it at first, my thighs chafe. I also feel like im pulling them down all the time which gets pretty annoying after a while. I was thinking cargo shorts, r those a good idea? Obviously nothing super short, not only am i not comfortable in short shorts in public but i dont need to be wearing something like that around the kiddos. Any advice is much appreciated 🫶

[Routine Help] In need of a good routine and sunscreen for my skin type

Everyday routine + susncreen recommendations for my skin type?

Ive honestly been really struggling with my skin lately and i would love any feedback/recommendations possible 🙏 Im honestly not sure what my skin type is. Idk if im over moisturizing and thats why my skin is so oily or if im not moisturizing enough and my skins so dry it overproduces oil, no matter what i use its one or the other. Idk if this matters at all but im 19F

I double cleanse and i use cera ve acne control cleanser and this bar soap that i unfortunately dont remember the name of bc im on my last one and threw the box away. After my shower ive been using olay super serum and olay ultimate niacinimide + collegen peptide 24 (omg what a mouthful) and my face has been so greasy. I feel like i never know what kinds of products to use for my face and its getting pretty frustrating. I also need a good everyday sunscreen, im a camp counselor and the seasons starting soon. I need something nongreasy but waterproof and wont sweat off or come off in the pool

Genuinely whoever can help me out and give me some guidance i will seriously owe u my first born child im so tired of not knowing what to do with my skin 😭🙏

THAT episode rant *spoilers for late s2*

I still think it was unnecessary. Idk fs if it was thom greens decision or not to leave bc ive heard both that it was and it wasnt but idk. I originally thought he did choose to leave so he could shoot Halo 4 (which hes also fantastic in) but after watching the ep of life academy he was on where he said they just called him in their office and said he was gonna get killed off, im confused

So assuming he didnt actually want to leave, i understand them wanting to deal with death but i feel like they didnt have to do it that way. Dance academy does tackle like basically everything holy cow but sammys grandpa already died, i feel like they couldve utilized that more. We couldve seen more of a grieving process with sammy and his family rather than it basically just lasting 1 episode and then getting forgotten. Sure a main character isnt dying but were still seeing a main character mourn and grieve the death of a loved one which isnt that what they wanted?

Also did they not give ben leukemia with the idea of him him being killed off? I love ben but is it that crazy of me to say i wish (if they absolutely HAD to kill someone that is) it wouldve been him instead? Like no hate like i said i love ben but thats literally *why* they gave him cancer in the 1st place was it not? I just feel like the kid whos had cancer since the 1st episode he was on dying *of cancer* makes more sense than sammy randomly getting steam rolled by a car. And i did read somewhere that sammys death was alluding to an actual scene in the red shoes but like cmon. He gets hit by a car? R we serious? This was made for a younger audience, how many kids have actually watched that? (Genuine question actually bc i havent seen it lol)

Tbh i dont really even think anyone *had* to die. Any of the main characters that is. Like i said, sammys grandpa already died just add more to that rather than forgetting ab it right after

Ngl i did quit watching the show after sammy died. I tried watching season 3 but it wasnt the same. I feel like killing the fan favorite is such a bold decision to the point where its a bad decision. So this is just my opinion having not even watched the full show lol

Heads up for anyone who donates/wants to donate blood

I donated double red recently (2nd time ive done that) and i was not prepared for my asthma flaring up afterwards. I looked it up, dr google said its just bc i lost oxygen carrying blood cells but i dont remember this ever happening before. I was kinda already in a flare with stress from finals (just finished my 1st year in college) and i think maybe allergies and the weather changing and being on my period. It really wasnt that bad though, just a minor annoyance and i was getting better then after donating it starting getting bad again. So just a heads up for yall: apparently ur asthma can flare up after donating 🥲

I HAVE to say 13 the musical. The actual show itself? genuine banger. I was so stoked for the movie when it came out (i think i was 16?) and its actually painfully disappointingly bad 😭
