These are some of the best build I’ve seen.

r/CarsIndia needs explanation

If a MOD removes a post, we need clear reason why it was removed. What does it mean if you just keep removing the post, ban and mute users who question.

Yes, there are a lot of posts related to the Ethanol fiasco. But that’s the most important thing in car industry right now. And every post adds up to the need to revolt against it.

I know I’ll be banned again for this. But to everyone who sees this, never stop to question any post being removed without any explanation. They are just stealing our freedom of speech.

Anyone working in motorsports in India? Need some advice.

I’m looking for opportunities to enter motorsport industry. I’m a business student, so what are my opportunities and how’s the market.

This ruined the car industry

Victims:
Polo
Dzire (bigger)
Indigo
Etc

Side effects:
Aura
Amaze
Ameo
Tigor
Venue
Nexon
Brezza etc

Could’ve been:
Many globally sold models

Like:
New polo
Renault Clio
Many other European hatchbacks which are way better than all these so called sub 4m SUVs.

Because of this rule, manufacturers are forced to make car specially for India, because car have become bigger and developing a smaller platform just for one country is not possible. Hence we are stuck with these substandard cars. Including my Kushaq. Honestly Vento or rapid are way better compared any new 2.0 Indian VW skodas.

Edit:
I think the tax brackets need modifications. It’s been 20 years since this sub 4m bracket. Customers need have changed and I think at least Creat segment cars should come under this tax bracket.

Felt like a kid again

After collecting premiums, mainlines getting this felt like is was kid who bought whatever looked cool instead of thinking about model or rarity. That too for ₹167. It features a unique design where the driver functions as a fidget spinner. It’s so cool.

How’s my plan - a 10th gen Corolla

After all this Ethanol fiasco, I decided that once I start earning after grad, I’ll get a 2011-2013 Toyota Corolla 1.8L. I don’t care anymore about this blended petrol. But one things for sure, I’m not getting a new car cuz that’s basically betting on the government.

Anyways, I don’t like new cars these days. They’re expensive but feel cheap, they are feature rich but too many glitches, they are safer but feel dead to drive. So.. I have two options, either a Civic 1.8 manual or a Corolla 1.8 manual. As my first car, I’ll probably go for a reliable option and I already drove a 2006 corolla 1.8 (which did 2.2 lakh km) for a few days recently and it’s amazing. It’s a hassle to search for a good condition corolla but it’s worth it and it only cost 2.5 -3 lakhs (maybe 1 more lakh to get back to a nice condition).

When you ask “what about features?” Well we have been using a Skoda Kushaq and I only use maps and Spotify and absolutely nothing else. I think I only opened the sunroof twice in one year that’s it.

New Hyundai i20

Many people are hating this new design but here’s what I think:

  1. The front looks like a Kia and the back looks like they took inspiration from SantaFe’s boxy design. Does it look good

? Yes,

  1. but the design could have been a bit more sharper.

  2. I love the rear bumper, it’s amazing.

  3. looks like Hyundai tried to max out the interior space and hence this design.

  4. The proportions are good better than any sub 4m “SUV”
