Founder Context:
Making a small amount of money to leave and exit a toxic dorm from college. Living cost is cheap enough here. i can rent a house and a van service to drop me to college with 250-300$ a month

I want to work under a professor at IIT Madras who is working on something related to Entrepreneurship during my 3rd year. Favorably 12month one.

Bro my roomie is straight up arrogant to me, and he is trying to impose his dominance in my room. I have stayed up for ~5days with very little sleep for takneek. now, my roomie turned on the lights for an all nighter. I cant sleep with lights on. I almost fainted in the lab and i vomited terribly. i wish my mother was here to take care of me. i fell sick as well. i am not tell anything that happened to my parents. I am having serious homesickness despite having a lot of acquittances. I have already fked up my chm paper.

Hi I am planning to go to gym from sep 5th. i need help in finding the best gym with enough breathing space and good equipment. better if it is close to Hall13 or Library for this year

man, i just registered out of curiosity and now im regretting it. i registered it once the mail hit my phone. i was enthusiastic at that moment. but when i inquired about it to a 2nd yr senior abt it, they said not to register because, the competition is crazy high and i wont be able to get that japan trip. now, im feeling stuck, because if i fail to get to japan now, i can never. but, if i find someone in similar shoes, maybe i can push through but i dont have any idea about this thing. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. ITS REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME T-T.

This is not a joke post, please help me and its kind of personal.

Ive been in this campus for like 20 days from Hall 13, yet i havent decided what i have to pursue in these 4 years.

I have chosen material science in IITK yet i was getting "better" branches like chem, etc through my OBC reservation. but i havent chosen it because I have genuine interests in nanotechnology, where the only closest department according to my interests, i was getting was material science and i took it. + i have also thought of joining MTH / SDS / IS thru branch change and then taking up Material Science as a double major, since Nanotech is a small part of the syllabus.

and then later on, i have done some research regarding the course of MSE, and the required breakthroughs that are plausible in the near future like efficient batteries, high temperature superconductors (this thing aint coming soon tho), which kind of fascinated me. If we somehow reach and develop nanotech, we can even push towards breakthroughs such as programmable matter where computation is involved here.

and talking about current situation of AI era, people are discovering better materials used for various purposes. for ex: we might find a material where we could use transparent electronic gadgets. like we can use computers inside our usual spectacles for abnormality detection in our surroundings.

so, then understanding how AI could be useful for my interests, i have grown a little interest towards AI as well. So, In IITK, ive been trying to get into Takneek BCS as an initial step to get a basic grip on AI so, i could slowly shift towards computational material science and eventually get towards advanced nanotechnology.

Here come's the twisting part. I am a coming from a really small village - I have 6 cousin brothers and sisters who are <10 and i love them very very much. and as i feel, they are not getting the best education in the country and it kind of concerns me because i am getting into india's no.1 institute.

I have shifted to a better town where i can get a sligtly better education for my JEE prep. thankfully i have gotten into IIT and i am in need of a huge sum of money in like 5-6 years because i want my brothers and sisters to get to same or infact better college abroad so, they could enjoy a better life.

So, i was thinking about building a small business and earning that money and then solving these issues. but i actually have 0 idea of how a business works and i dont even know the meaning of revenue, equity, etc and i have just heard it. As far as ive researched regarding building a business is extremely hard. and building it within 7-8 years is even more difficult. Maybe i could build a very small passive income stuff, etc. idk man, i feel stuck now.

If i focus on focusing on the curriculum, i have to let my cousins study a mediocre life. I am not sure about the condition of JEE / NEET after like 10years from now. so whoever reading this, i have poured my heart onto this. please dont make fun [it would sting for a long time]. i am requesting genuine advices and im ready to hear all perspectives.

I am an introvert and crave meaningful connections. There is dude in our wing, lets call him X. This X is overly extrovert, which sometimes i feel like he is seeking for attention or has main character syndrome. and about the other wingies, they try to become a side actor-like dude for X. which is so mentally draining to see. I MIGHT BE MISINTERPRETTING IT, BUT I HATE THIS BEHAVIOUR FROM MY WINGIES. As, they will be for 4 more years, most prolly it will become harder for me. Maybe the character of X is itself like that, i dont blame him. I hate those guys who want to be like him, man its totally obvious. Those guys start playing loud music at midnight because its their "HOSTEL FUN" Time. Fun isnt disturbing others.
