Having cars behind me keep high‑beams on the highway at night is infuriating
I really hate it when drivers behind me leave their high‑beams on while driving the highway at night.
The bright light bounces off both side mirrors and my rear‑view mirror. The blinding glare washes out my vision and strains my eyes. Flipping the rear‑view to anti‑glare mode only helps so much, the side mirrors still get blasted.
It’s not just annoying — it feels genuinely unsafe. It takes extra mental effort to focus on the road ahead when your eyes are getting constantly blasted from behind.
Does anyone else deal with this all the time? What little tricks do you use to cope with drivers who refuse to turn their high beams off?
