Character ideas for a homebrew pirate campaign

Was originally wanting to do like a siren or necromancer vibe then changed my mind bc I thought it would be coool to do something that I could control weather/storms. Idk I’m so indecisive but I’m down for anything, just let me know some ideas please! The more whimsy the better lol I don’t just want to be a boring pirate. Completely open so give suggestions for race, class, subclass, background etc.

(I believe my dm is basing a lot of campaign on cloudward ho from Dimension20)

Why can’t I create a necromancer on dnd beyond?

I have a whole plan to be a siren necromancer in a new campaign and was really looking forward but for some reason it’s not available? Google isn’t helping either because it says it’s in players handbook so not sure why you can’t even search it

Any nice day spas for a massage and/or relaxing treatment in the nearby area?

Would like to find a nice spa for full pampering but would settle for a relaxing massage in a nice reputable place

Willing to go up to Ann Arbor or anywhere within like 45 min drive of Toledo. Would like to find a nice spa for full pampering but would settle for a relaxing massage in a nice reputable place

First time landscaping tips?

Trying to get my flower beds together and start fresh but I’ve never gardened before. Currently overrun by weeds and a lot of plants from previous owners, I might keep some but I’m wondering if there are any general tips or advice before I get started?
Zone 6b (whatever that means)

What do you think are the most important maintenance tasks either in your routine or things you keep up on regularly?

New homeowner and generally clueless naive person who doesn’t even think about things until it’s a problem. I keep it clean and tidy but I know there are a lot of things I don’t know to even look for
