I'm getting a full freeze, almost always within 30 minutes or so of using it. If I do nothing it will sometimes stay on for hours but sometimes it does still freeze when not being used.

I ran music to see if I was just losing mouse and keyboard connectivity, but it stopped too.

I have to shutdown by power button hold to restart it or power it off afterwards.

BIOS is up to date, I think.

I've ruled out Windows as the issue by using Ubuntu and Hiren's running from a USB drive. They both freeze crashing. Which should also rule out the SSD right ?

I believe I ruled out the RAM too, I ran MemTest overnight and it was still operational after 8 hours. No RAM errors either.

It's a little HP Pavilion mini tower with an Erica 6 motherboard, 5700G Ryzen processor and a Western Digital SSD.

One thing I've noticed when it freezes, the fans still spin but the USB drive stops lighting up.

Is there any possible way to test the processor or motherboard itself? Or, could a failing PSU cause this?

I'd actually like to replace the motherboard anyway but if the processor is bad it's not worth it.

Any help, suggestions or advice would be appreciated.!

I've fresh installed Windows 10, then fresh installed Windows 11 and the same error is there regardless of the OS.

I never had any issues during the actual Windows installation either time.

Does anybody know where I can ask about this Deskhop Keyboard and Mouse Switcher?

It's a Raspberry Pi based device for Windows but I'm not sure which SubReddit it would fall in.
