Kandi Burruss’ Absence, Plotting That Wedding and Other Burning ‘The Chi’ Finale Questions, Answered by Lena Waithe

This might put y’all at ease, maybe not. But her explanations do make a lot of sense, even if they’re still letdown resolutions.

Here’s something that I don’t think anyone has talked about yet…

With Reg taking up for Victor and Tiff, I have a sneaking feeling that Reg is going to give up Roselyn to give himself a lighter sentence or something?

E10…Best damn episode of all

Gave us answers we’ve been waiting for, and I never thought we’d see that bastard son again.

Also, teen Bobby is just so funny.

This fucking kid is so hardheaded, that it’s hard to like him.

He would fit right at home on The Chi.

Crazy how Marshall is the one common sense, because if you know Bakari, it is night and goddamn day how different they are as people.

It’s wild to see this show, and your first thought after finishing S4 being: “There is so much wasted potential in front of us.”

I don’t think I’m the first to point this out, but while Ghost was entertaining, Tariq’s punk ass is the weak link that brought it down. However, the show around Tariq was far more compelling than Tariq himself, and the Tejadas…. I would have loved to see an entire show centered around them like a gangsta Succession.

Could you imagine Mary J. as Monet being a mom/queenpin with emotionally stunted adult children and having an affair with Davis the hotshot lawyer? We would have been eating much better than what we have now.

Back when TV was fun…

But real talk, Propane Boom I & II are legit S-tier episodes, and the summer gimmick of King of the (Hollywood) Hills makes it even better.

This question has always been on my mind, but for those who watched it in real time, how obvious was it that it would be Buckley to die rather than Hank or Luanne?

Even in reruns, I think some of us can predict that it was Buckley.

Boy, this dude…

Caleb gets a lot of shit because he is a little shit, but he at least has the excuse of being a kid who has never been told no in his life.

Chris Sizemore is probably the one guy who can outdo Peggy in the “biggest egomaniac” contest. Just look at him, even without saying anything, he’s just an asshole you want to punch in the face.

Even his name just screams “asshole.”
