[OC] Every birth city of all 1248 players going to the 2026 World Cup
I mapped the birthplace of every player at the 2026 FIFA World Cup
Over the past few weeks I've been building a Google Maps project mapping the birthplace of every player selected for the 48 World Cup nations.
Current map:
• 1,248 players mapped
• 48 national team squads
• Birthplaces sourced from mainly Wikipedia
*Please note this is birth city only (not where the player may have developed/grown up).
Please also let me know if any location is wrong/mistakes!
