Governor of Texas just put a pause on new data centre being built in Texas.

For any new data centre being built. Data centers must disclose their plans to:

pay their own way
provide their own power
reuse their own water
reduce the cost of electricity
& avoid disturbing neighborhoods

This is super bullish for BE as they provide on site power and there is no need to connect to local grid. Long BE. I expect other states to do the same thing as local communuites are against data centre in general which is one of the reasons this was introduced

Top Nuclear company going public soon.

Westinghouse is planning on going public. It was announced this week. As of now half of westinghouse is owned by Cameco biggest uranium producer in the world. The other half is owned by brookfield who has 100s of billion of assets under them. Fun fact Nicolas Tesla used to work for westinghouse back in the days. Here is another one Westinghouse powers more then half the worlds nuclear reactors

In november 2025 US goverment signed a 80 billion deal with westinghouse to building nuclear powerplants. The company is also very much global with tons of work going on in europe.

  • Poland Milestone: In April/May 2026, Westinghouse, Bechtel, and Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe won the Energy Dominance Deal of the Year award from EXIM for advancing Poland's first nuclear power plant project.
  • European and Ukrainian Expansion: Opened a new AP1000 Training Academy featuring a full-sized control room replica in Spain to support 14+ planned European units, alongside deepening fuel and plant agreements with Ukraine's Energoatom. The AP1000 is the only operational Generation III+ reactor with passive safety systems, giving it a massive competitive edge over unproven designs
  • AP300 SMR in the UK: Initiated the UK Generic Design Assessment process for its AP300 Small Modular Reactor, collaborating with Community Nuclear Power.

One important thing to know is they dont physcially build these plants. Westinghouse acts as an asset-light technology provider, not a physical builder. They license proprietary reactor designs, supply high-tech core components, and sell specialized nuclear fuel. Massive construction partners, like Bechtel, handle the heavy civil engineering, pouring the concrete and managing local labor. This consortium model protects Westinghouse investors from expensive construction delays while securing high-margin engineering fees and decades of recurring fuel revenue.

Thoughts on Leopold selling all his stocks today

I just read the news that he sold all his stocks. I can’t believe he was on leverage first of all up to 4x from what I read . My main question is do you guys think citadel did this on purpose crashing AI stocks so he would be liquidated. And also they said fed would hike on Wednesday which was very odd. They were the only who said that.

And today citadel brought his fund for 10 billion

I hope he opens a new fund. I don’t care what anyone says but dude had some killer callouts. I entered BE very early all thanks to him still holding and not selling.

COME BACK LEOPOLD

Need advice regarding Private life extension

I was first granted private life in 2021 i was 20 back then under Paragrpah 276BE of immigration rules as home office was satisfied i met requirements under paragraph 276ADE. i then got an extension in 2024. My next extension is this year in dec.

i came to UK originally in 2014, when i was 12. i dont know the exact visa i was on, but i know my parents always had an application which protected my legal rights. In 2018 i was granted 5 year visa under zambrano visa as carer for my dad but when UK left EU, i was no longer eligible under it, so had to apply for private life.

I know if you have spent half of your life in UK, you can apply for ILR under 5 years instead of doing whole 10 years under private life. so to be clear came to uk in 2014 when i was 12 and Date of birth is in August 2001 and applying for my next extension in dec 2026. Am i eligible for to apply for ILR in Dec

Is bloom energy gonna keep blooming

So jumped in bloom at 220 few weeks back. And I really think this company is gonna keep going higher. Last week Brookfield expanded thier partnership with bloom from 7 billion to 25 billion. They also have partnerships with oracle and nebius

CEO also said they don’t plan on doing any sort of offering to raise capital. As things stand there is lot of backlash on connecting data centre to local grids infrastructure and it takes a long ass time.

Bloom provides on site solutions which are a lot more quicker and can be set up in months, compared to local grid connecting which takes years

When stock goes down. You see lot of bearish posts

I am redddit shareholder last December it was 280 then dropped to 130 in March. They were so many shit posts on Reddit subreddit. People shitting on ceo and the board when fundamentally nothing had changed. Look at Reddit today it’s 190 and all those bearish posts are gone.

Same with Iren when stock goes down people emotions get the better of them and I get it. It sucks watching your money goes down. I am not going to tell you whether you should sell or buy.

What I will say is why did you invest in Iren? Is that thesis still intact. If no then you should sell. For me personally I am holding its just short term noise for me what’s happening right now

And yes if this time next year we are still trading at current levels and I don’t see any progress in terms of where business is heading then I will sell.

Lot of new investors end up panic selling when they constant shit posts, so reevaluate your thesis before you sell.

I still think people don’t realise how big mirantis acquisitions is. They will sell cloud services themselves instead of being bare metal and their cloud got Nvidia approval few days ago

25 M looking for career change. Thinking of doing an apprenticeship

i initially did an apprenticeship when i was 19, it was covid i had no idea what i wanted to do with my life. And i ended up doing one in Freight Forwarding and at the end of my apprenticeship my employer offered me full time job so i stayed with them.

I have been with same company ever since. I earn £37k per year. its an okay salary for work i do. But i hate the job as its not very challenging and i dont see oppurtunites to progess.

I am planning on resigning at the end of this year during my annual reveiw. I just wanted to ask if people could recomended some apprenticeships which i should look into and they have had a good experience with in terms of making a career out of it. In terms of education i passed my english and maths got a 5 in both of them. And i did access to he course last year in hopes it can open up some oppurtunities in Business and accounting i got 141 ucas points which is 42 distincstions and 3 merits which is equivalent to 3 A levels.

Decided I will leave my current field EOY and want to retrain into something entirely new

I have decided now that I will leave my field eoy. I usually have a performance review in late November. During which I will bring up my promotion talk if i don’t get it I will resign. I live with my parents

I work in freight forwarding and I don’t enjoy it all. I feel so dead inside. And it’s a dead end job it’s not a career at all. I have been with my company for 5 years now.
I wanna use the remainder of this year to plan what I want to do. But I’m really lost I’m 25 years old and have no one to reach out to or guide me
I will probably have to start an apprenticeship or go to uni I assume.
I have mentally prepared myself with resigning from my job. I am literally depressed cause of this job. I have so much more to offer

My goal is to be on 50k after a few years of experience and I’m hoping people here can recommend me some careers.
