So I’m planning on finally reading the dune books, I’ve wanted to ever since I saw part one when it released but never go round to it. Although I was wondering why do the majority of fans not count the Brian Herbert books as canon. I’m a huge LOTR fan and everyone loves Christopher’s books, maybe because they come from his father’s works, like letters and short story’s. But if anyone can let me know that would be great.

I am going to start playing Control tomorrow and was wondering if there was any extra media from Control. Like Alan Wake as the Bright Falls show, the Alan Wake Files, the novelisation. Max Payne has the comic and Quantum break has the book. Is there anything like this for Control?
I finished playing Alan Wake 2 on Amazon Luna and I absolutely love it, but one downside of it is I don’t get achievements on it. Some point soon I’m going to buy an Xbox Series X soon and my first game will be AW2, I was just wondering as I want to 100% it, is there any point in me getting the collectibles I can get the first time playing or should I just play for the story and get all the collectibles in the Final Draft run?
