Hello reddit, i've been trying to install hackintosh from 3 days and getting bombarded with the same error again and again.

"An error occured preparing the software update"

I'm sure that I have:

> Created EFI properly.
> Made sure my system is compatible.
> Disabled Secureboot and tried many solutions from the internet/reddit.

My system specs are:

CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1245 v3 @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: AMD RX590 GME

and i'm trying to install it in an SSD seperately, I don't know what to do at this point. I've tried monterey and then seqioua as well, nothing seems to work. I'll attach reference shots below.

I need advice from people who understand iPhones / consumer issues.

I bought an iPhone SE 2020 (non-PTA, 64GB) from a mobile shop for 22,500 PKR. Before purchasing, I clearly asked the seller multiple times if it was bypassed or had any issues. He denied it and sold it as a normal usable phone.

(mind you it was my first time purchasing an iphone and the iphone scene is too complicated for me to understand)

I used the phone for a short time and everything seemed fine. After updating it, the phone got locked and now shows “Locked to Owner” with a hidden Apple ID email, meaning it is iCloud Activation Locked.

When I went back to the shop, the seller started saying it is “MDM” (which it clearly is not) and then later said it’s a bypass phone and I should “wait for the next bypass update.” He is refusing refund or replacement.

I also have:

• WhatsApp chats where I asked about bypass status
• Proof of payment (part JazzCash, part cash)
• Shop card / details
• Video of the “Locked to Owner” screen

I’m 15 and used my saved money for this, so I’m really stuck here.

What are my actual options in this situation? Can I do anything legally or through complaint systems in Pakistan, or is it just a loss?

yeah, since the season is about to end and I still haven't got the battle pass yet, and i'd really appreciate if anyone gifts me the battle pass, it will genuinely make my week, thank you :)

Student here, I saved up for a new phone and proceeded to go with an iPhone SE 2020, I got it from a online seller (I regret it) and when the phone came, it worked, but when I updated it, It got to activation lock, It was a bypassed phone, and now, I'm cooked. It's now on iOS 26.4.1 and my saved up money is completely wasted (I guess). There is no trace of the seller anymore and I tried contacting support but they don't seem to be supportive at all. I don't know man.... I'm just a student who wanted to experience Apple for the first shifting from an android, and the first experience has been very disappointing and I can't even blame Apple for that, It's my own stupidity and I hope I was more careful while buying. I got it for 100$. Is there like any way to unlock it or any specific use case, please, I'll be really thankful. Gracias.
