Do Agile teams need better decision-making tools?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently building a SaaS focused specifically on team decision-making. The idea itself is already well defined, but before I invest more time into development, I want to validate whether it solves a real problem for Agile teams.

The goal isn't to replace Jira, Azure DevOps or other PM tools. Instead, it's designed to help teams:

-compare alternatives before making important decisions,

-understand where disagreements come from,

-preserve the reasoning behind decisions,

-explore different decision scenarios,

-and build organizational memory around decisions.

I'd really appreciate your honest opinion.

Do Agile teams actually struggle with these problems, or do your existing tools and processes already solve them well?

If you think there is a gap, which part of team decision-making is the most frustrating today?

[App][Promo] I turned a scene from Alain Resnais' Last Year at Marienbad into a mobile game

I first heard about the game of Nim many years ago while watching Last Year at Marienbad, Alain Resnais's 1961 masterpiece. The idea for the game had been germinating for a long time because I couldn't find a way to develop and adapt the rules of the game to the conditions and immersive techniques of mobile gaming. The final idea turned out to be the simplest possible, but perhaps that's sometimes the best. The implementation was the culmination of years of thinking about this idea, which haunted me at irregular intervals, but always with the same intensity.

The rules are simple – the player who leaves the last matchstick for the opponent wins. At the beginning, a bonus card in the form of an element is drawn. Three elements are available (Fire, Water, and Air), which allow for unconventional moves and interactions with each other – you can respond with a counter to the bonus card used by your opponent (the AI, for now).

Playthroughs are generally brief. The gameplay is dynamic and intuitive, although the game's true depth can only be discovered through an analytical and strategic approach, discovering patterns of the best moves and configurations that lead to victory.

I encourage you to check it out. Currently, the game is ad-free, and its development path (plans for future updates) will depend on player interest – whether anyone wants to play it, because ultimately, that's probably the most important thing.

I believe Alternim could really shine in multiplayer. Real-time multiplayer remains a long-term goal, but if players enjoy the core concept, I would first like to explore simpler forms of multiplayer, such as asynchronous matches. Additionally, at the moment, it is not known whether people will like this idea for a game at all.

I created my first mobile game - Alternim - which is an outgrowth of my love for cinema

I also feel that Alternim could really spread its wings in multiplayer but the complexity of this concept scares me a bit from the implementation side. Additionally, at the moment, it is not known whether people will like this idea for a game at all.

Thank you! Alternim has officially launched on Google Play

Hi everyone,

A while ago I came to this community looking for testers for my game, Alternim.

Thanks to the feedback, bug reports, and suggestions I received here, I was able to improve the tutorial, refine the localization, fix several issues, and successfully complete Google Play's closed testing requirements.

Today Alternim has officially launched on Google Play.

Alternim is a minimalist strategy game inspired by Nim and enhanced with elemental abilities that add new strategic possibilities to every match.

Thank you to everyone who helped during the testing phase. Your support made this release possible.

Good luck with your own projects!

[Android] Alternim – Closed Testing (Test for Test)

Hi everyone!

I'm developing Alternim — a minimalist elemental strategy game inspired by Nim — and I need 12 testers for 14 days for Google Play closed testing.

Of course, I'll also test your app in return.

  1. Join the Google Group:

    https://groups.google.com/g/alternim-testers

  2. After joining, open the Google Play test link:

    https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.kamillasek.alternim

Please use the same Google account for both Google Groups and Google Play.

After joining the test, install the game and play a few matches.

I'd especially appreciate feedback about:

- UI on different devices

- gameplay clarity

- overall game feel

Thanks for your help!
