Why I love Kenyans.

Granted, we have our issues but also mostly our wins.

First is the Kenyan attitude😂😂😂 smart, canning and absolutely hardworking.

Second is the way we tend to carry on with life despite a ‘big’ scandal, an unfortunate event, trolls…I bet you that when Kenyans troll, the next day they are up to someone else or something else.it doesn’t stick.

Third is how small things unite us…like just now, some guys were almost getting into a fight, then one of them said ‘sasa shida ni nini na sisi wote ni wa WANTAM?’ The whole mood has just changed…buddies!!! Insert the minions sound…buddies…😂😂😂.

Ps. The fight had nothing to do with politics

At what point did you realize your friend ain’t all that?

Adult friendship can be trouble and understandably so because we collect baggage along the years. Traumas and lessons.

1)At what point did you learn that your friend and yourself have grown so much apart in character?

2)What did you see that you considered a deal breaker for you?

3)how did you handle that?

Please stay consistent with the three points of discussion

The forest never left; it just got a new outfit

Ok hear me out. Lately, I’ve been entertaining thoughts of how barbaric people are. Regardless of gender. How we undercut others, how we impress those whom we perceive to be of benefit to us…how we wear different masks for different stages.

It gets me thinking, isn’t this how the jungle operates? Basically you have to look out for yourself because when you are caught, there’s not mercy. And when you got to eat, you show no mercy either…

Think in terms of money and stuff, most people will go to all lengths just for the bag. No one is coming to save you mentality. Also, it doesn’t mean that if you are kind and humble and all that good stuff, the world will be kind to you. You’l die poor and having been used so badly. The world basically has no morals.

Doest that make it a jungle in a new outfit? Think about it…

Graffiti and Mods on matatus

Is an era coming when we will lose this culture? I find it so cool, indiscipline that comes with it aside for now, but the matatu culture…I hope it doesn’t die.

Can it be integrated with safety? What would it take to strike the balance?

Men and being true to themselves

So today, I didn’t have an intention of shaving my head, but as I was walking I noticed this guy. Nothing fancy, just a guy in his true element. A shirt and sweater…those sweaters that go with shirts.

He was in his barbershop with no client, listen to one of those bingo hiphop tracks. I later asked and he told me the mixtape was from one TZ guy known as ‘Stamina’. He sounds like Mwana F.A. Or is it those bingo guys all sound the same? I digress, I got in and we started the thing.

To test his temperament, I asked what style really suited my shape of head, he said low fade. Exactly what I shave often. Long story short is the guy did some really clean job.

Then it got me thinking, this guy will one day meet a lady who will talk him out of what he loves to do and what he loves to listen to and that is how we will lose another one! His music taste will shift( btw music genre really shapes us) his dress code will change…like that like that…

end of story

Dr. Myles Munroe

I’ve recently started listen to the man, and something tells me this, is the original use of church. The days when ‘the glory is here’ shawty was doing the thing every morning on KTN before she got into politicz eeh…the days Muiru was Muiru…maximum whatever…so, what happened to church? No worthwhile bible based teaching, just prosperity and endless ‘giving to the ministry’, fashion and PR. Are teachings nowadays inspired by God or by a.i ?

Suggest to me who is currently your fav preacher and why.

When a man settles

I’m wondering what happens when a man settles, in a relationship. Is it the downfall of the man? If so, then why get in a romantic relationship in the first place?

  1. Most men end up being basic, loose their male friends and community at the expense of keeping your family. Reasonably acceptable.

  2. The man ends up being too predictable and the partner often gets bored, ends up cheating.

What is the way out in these relationships?
