Heart rate reaching 160–170 with minimal activity and slow to come down anyone experience this?

I’m 33F, around 130 lbs. Non-smoker, no alcohol, and no caffeine. My normal resting HR is usually around 50–60 bpm. Normal hormones and blood work, no vitamin deficiency either.

I’ve been dealing with episodes where very minimal activity in hot weather can suddenly make my heart rate shoot up dramatically. Today I walked outside for less than 4 minutes and my HR reached 170 bpm.

I was hydrated, had electrolytes, and was actually applying ice to my hands, chest, and face while walking because my HR was so high. I slowed/stopped, but it still wasn’t coming down quickly.

Before everyone says POTS: I’ve already considered/discussed that and I don’t believe my pattern fits. My blood pressure doesn’t seem significantly affected, this does not consistently happen from standing or walking, and I can walk/exercise normally at other times. The major trigger seems to be heat.

Doctors keep suggesting beta blockers, but I’m hesitant to simply suppress the heart rate without understanding why this is happening. Since my normal resting HR is already in the 50s–60s, I’m also concerned about how a beta blocker could affect my HR or blood pressure during the many times when my heart rate is completely normal.

Has anyone experienced this specific heat-triggered pattern and eventually figured out the cause? What testing actually helped Holter/event monitor, stress test, echocardiogram, electrophysiology evaluation, bloodwork, or something else?

Not looking for a diagnosis or medication advice. I’m mainly interested in hearing from people who experienced something genuinely similar and what eventually helped their doctors figure it out.

Anyone with Hallandale 10 mg/mL start below 2.5 mg?

Hi everyone! I have compounded tirzepatide from Hallandale Pharmacy.
My vial is: 10 mg/mL concentration
Directions: 25 units = 2.5 mg once weekly

My provider approved me to start at 12 units (1.2 mg) for the first 2 weeks because I’m very sensitive to new medications, then increase to 25 units if I tolerate it well. BUT I DID ONLY .8. So not even up to 10units
I’m curious if anyone else with the same Hallandale 10 mg/mL concentration started below 2.5 mg.
If so:
What dose did you start with? 1 mg? 1.2 mg? 1.5 mg?
How long did you stay there?
Did you still notice appetite suppression or weight loss?
Did it help reduce side effects?
Looking back, would you do it the same way?
I’m specifically looking for experiences from people using the 10 mg/mL Hallandale vial, since I know units can vary depending on the pharmacy and concentration.
Thanks!

1 unit possibly?

I have my Hallandale 10 mg/mL vial. Before I inject, I’m wondering if I can start lower than 2.5 mg because I’m very sensitive to medications. If so, what exact dose and syringe units do you recommend?”

Micro micro dosing?

Hello, anyone here doing a very micro micro dosing? I know the minimum dosage is 2.5mg/0.5 ML. FDA approved. Anyone here doing less than that for weight loss? If so how much are you doing?

Best telehealth provider for tirzepatide? Looking for actual medical supervision if possible

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for recommendations for a reputable telehealth provider for tirzepatide. I’ve already seen an endocrinologist, but because my BMI is in the normal range and my labs are normal, they didn’t think I was a candidate.

I’m not looking for someone who will automatically prescribe me medication. I’d really like to find a provider who will actually review my medical history, discuss the risks and benefits, and tell me honestly whether I’m an appropriate candidate.

I’ve heard people mention:
Noom
Fridays
Belle
Mochi
Form Health
If you’ve used any of these, I’d love to know:
Which provider did you choose?
Did you feel the clinician actually listened to you?
How was the follow-up care?
Were there any hidden fees?
Would you recommend them?

I’m especially interested in experiences from people who weren’t starting with obesity or who were in a similar situation to mine, but I’d appreciate hearing any experiences positive or negative.

Endocrinologist said I’m not a GLP-1 candidate because I’m 130 lbs. Should I get a second opinion?

Normal BMI but struggling to lose 10–15 lb has anyone used a GLP1 short term?
I’m 5’1” and around 130 lb, and I’ve been struggling to lose the same 10 - 15 pounds despite trying to walk more, watch my portions, and stay consistent.
My endocrinologist said I’m not a candidate for a GLP1 because my weight is stable and my blood sugar labs are normal. I understand his reasoning, but I’m still frustrated because I don’t feel comfortable at my current size
I also have longer menstrual cycles, around 40 days, and I’m being evaluated for possible hormonal issues. I’ve read that GLP1 medications may sometimes help people with PCOS or irregular cycles, but I know they aren’t prescribed specifically for that.

I’m curious whether anyone here started at a lower weight or normal BMI and used a very low dose or short course. Did a doctor supervise you? Did you have side effects? Were you able to maintain the weight loss after stopping?

Please be kind. I know I’m not medically overweight, but this has been affecting how I feel in my body.

33F - Heart rate reaches 160+ while walking outdoors but cardiac testing is normal

33F, 5’1”, 130 lbs. Non-smoker. No alcohol or caffeine. Multiple normal EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitor, and echocardiogram. For the past few years my heart rate rises significantly during outdoor walks, especially in heat. Today it reached 165 bpm during moderate walking. No chest pain or fainting. Looking for possible explanations and whether this sounds consistent with deconditioning, anxiety, heat intolerance, cardiovascular drift, or something else.
