for me, kenny mason and marco plus

i love kenny mason but ever since 9 his albums just haven't hit for me nearly as much as his first 3 albums. i thought angel eyes would sound like angelic hoodrat but it still sounded pretty forgettable aside from a few standouts

similarly to kenny mason, i genuinely believe his first 2021-23 albums (including one that was taken off spotify) is genuinely one of the best album runs in rap. although he's been getting better at rapping, its like he forgot about the beat selection that set him apart in the first place and alot of his more upbeat stuff just sounds like "young nudy type beat" and his other stuff sounds like a blander and toned down version of his older beats. i still listen to his newer stuff because his raps are great enough to carry the beats tho.

i havent read the manga in eons and i realized that if maki and toji got so strong through heavenly restriction, why didnt everybody else do too? mei mei is cool asf but her technique is like top 5 lamest in the series. if she had heavenly restriction shed turn into a big buff man and slap sukuna back to the heian era or something

edit: does only the zenin clan get born with it? im just surprised we never saw or heard of any hr users outside of maki and toji (and mechamaru ofc but i mean no cursed energy)

ive been listening to alot of maajins for the last few months and he has a song for everybody, great production, is extremely consistent with quality, has great music videos, and has variety in his songs. the only reasons i could see someone not liking his music is him being chopped or them not liking his voice. but if you havent listened to no superhero then please listen to it

baptiste is one of my least played characters from ow1 and i wanted to start getting good with him

tldr: album singles feel disconnected from the rest of the album in the tracklist

i came to dislike album singles around when the forever story came out and started to make an effort to not listen to them around when LGSEO was in its rollout. whenever i listen to an album single and start to like it, the song feels disconnected from the rest of the album when it comes out, and that's made some albums worse for me. i honestly still can't listen to So Be It and Ace Trumpets in the context of the album because i listened to these songs so much before the album's release that my brain still can't connect them to the rest of the album (it doesn't help that they're right next to each other in the tracklist as well). if kendrick dropped father time and count me out 3 months before the album came out, i think that would honestly make me not like the album nearly as much.

and don't even get me started on artists who drop like 4-5 songs as singles and shove them onto the album 😒

the feeling of vomiting is sooooooo disgusting i hate even thinking about it. i broke into a cold sweat this morning because i almost had to throw up, and now i dont want to eat today

i hate how when i vomit it feels like an evil spirit taking control of my body and it won't let me control myself until after my stomach is emptied. theres a long list of bad things id rather happen to me than getting food poisoning again
