Starting at 40mg

Hello, I am starting Straterra next week after failed attempts with Vyvanse and concerta. I am clearly highly sensitive, and even at 18mg stimulants were too much. Even a strong coffee feels too much for me.

Now the doctor has set my starting dose at 40mg. And I am honestly scared. For what I am reading that is not a starting dose? Has anyone had a successful experience starting at 40mg? I have quite bad health anxiety due to past experiences and I take a long time convincing myself to take a new pill :(. The pill is a capsule so I can't break it in half or anything.

Squirrels ate through car cables

Hello, My car a/c suddenly stopped working and took it to the garage, apparently a rodent or squirrels had eaten through some wiring and they need to be repaired. This will cost more than $800 and I'd really like it to not happen again. I park in my backyard spot and yes there's loads of trees and squirrels around.

What are some tips so that I don't have to take it again in a couple of weeks? What could we do to repel them? The mechanic said they will add a protective layer to the cables but that he doesn't guarantee that they won't chew through that :|.

Did anyone get over the 'air hunger'

Hey I started 18mg generic concerta for 5 days after a failed Vyvanse trial, I am super sensitive to meds in general even coffee. Those 18 mg generic did wonders for my ADHD but around the peak time of the medication I'd get very annoying 'air hunger' like I can't take a satisfying deep breath.

I decided to try the brand concerta see if it got better but it was absolutely horrible, I'm almost traumatized by it, felt horrible, anxiety, paranoia, depressed. Anyways, thinking of going back to the generic and just 'push through' and see if the air hunger eventually goes away, I'm weary that after day 5 it wasn't going away though.

My other option is to just try the non stimulants I guess, I'll have to talk to my doc.

Salary adjustment Montreal - Vancouver

Hello, what would be a fair salary adjustment to ask my company for if they are requiring that I relocate from Montreal to Vancouver if I currently earn 75k a year? With my husband earning around the same we feel we are comfortable in Montreal and wondering how much would be the equivalent for prices in Vancouver. We rent here in Montreal.
