My pups underbite

She is 5 months old and just got all her adult teeth. The last month or so her little under teeth are always showing. She eats , breaths, plays and all just fine. Clear health from the vet as well. Is she gonna stay like that? The last photo is of her parents. The cream one is the daddy and she obviously does look more like her mother. Her adult coat and the puppy fluff is changing and kinda ridiculous right now. My mop/ show coat dream is dead haha. I wonder how will she mature ? Maybe there is some grandparents genes in there. Also i have hoped she will be on the smaller side. Her mommy is 3,4 kg her pap is a big boy at almost 6 kg . She is the smallest(probably the runt) of the litter. She was 1.200 at around 2 months old and 2 kg at 5 and a little. Her biggest sister is 3 kg right now. The growing is mostly in her becoming kinda funny long and her chest has grown as well but not like her sister wich was much sturdier and heavier even at 3 months old. What do you guys think ? How much does your peke weights ?

5 month old puppy has a mat

I left her with my granny for a week because of a trip . She has a small Matt (around the size of my tumb nail). It’s not right next to skin but I don’t think I can brush it out. Her fur is longest and fluffier around the ears. I don’t want to stress/ scare her away from brushing by trying to much. I’m thinking cutting it out but I don’t want to fuck up her growing coat either. Any advice ?

Show me correct navel anatomy.

All I see are wrong ones and that’s all the comments I see as well. Apparently a lot of bad piercers and once who will do it anyway. There are the atrocious one who are pierced like mm above the button itself. Then there the rejection ones. Then there are some that look fine to me. I’m maybe in the bad category right now but for now I trust my piercer. Can you guys show me a correct anatomy for one ? Bonus points if it’s next to a bad one. Yes the outie belly buttons I understand but other than that most of the others don’t look as bad if they are not apparently surface?

My babe prefers to sleep on the floor and I’m hurt

She is 4 months old and prefers the floor/bed rather than up with me and the other dog. During the day she comes and sleeps next to me on a puff. The first weeks I got her she slept next to my head. Honestly I’m kinda hurt haha. The other dogs I have have been holding for dear life to sleep with me in a pile. My other right now sleeps even under the blankets and is impossible to make her get down. Maybe is too hot for the peke? Does she still care about us 😩 I feel like sleeping is such a bonding experience. She is really excited when we wake up and greets me with many kisses.

New navel.. is it normal ?

First pic - day one . Last pick a week into it. The piercer did warn I don’t have the best anatomy but from what I got she meant look wise which I didn’t mind. Anyway it got more and more red.. honestly I think the earring wasn’t long enough either. The second pic is after two days of antibiotic cream and it has gotten better.(but it’s kinda purple now ?) it was worse the days before that as of redness and puffiness

New navel is it fine?

The piercer was a pretty popular spot. Said I don’t have the best anatomy but it should be fine. I felt and don’t feel almost no pain at all and is day two. When is sit it does kinda flip and stick out a little but I don’t feel pain. I’m scared of rejection and want to catch it early. Does it look okay? Is it deep enough?

Peke character ? Tell me about yours

Hello everyone! I’m a first-time Pekingese owner, and my little girl has such an interesting personality.
I’ve had a few dogs before, including a Jack Russell that my Peke now lives with. My Jack isn’t very typical for the breed—she has always been extremely obedient and incredibly bonded to me from day one. Although, to be fair, I do remember that she also liked to wander off and explore when she was younger.
I’d love to hear more about your Pekingese. What are they like?
Mine is very vocal and absolutely loves greeting random strangers. She has these wonderful bursts of love and affection, but at other times she just gives me a look, evaluates me, and then ignores me as if I’m completely beneath her royal highness! I’ve heard that Pekingese can be quite aloof. What should I expect as she gets older?
I’ve recently started using a slightly sterner voice when she does something she shouldn’t, and honestly, she looks both confused and guilty.
My biggest concern is that she’s nowhere near as much of a Velcro dog as my Jack Russell was at the same age. From what I’ve observed, the top priorities in her little head seem to be: 1) food, and 2) the excitement of meeting new people. And then 3) me
That said, for a puppy, she picks up new tricks incredibly quickly. Do Pekingese tend to become more Velcro and attached to their owners as they age?

She looks really ginger in some.. paler in others. Her sisters are darker for sure. What do you think?

I was angry at her and she looks like a bread roll

I was angry at the pup for chewing something… with her ears back she is so spherical.🟠

First and new puppy

That’s my new puppy. She was a gift from my neighbors, so she’s probably not the purest in terms of breeding.

Both parents were present. The father was a big, mostly white boy with some cream spots — definitely a Pekingese. The mother was a normal light ginger-colored one, although her muzzle was a bit more pronounced, which I actually see as a plus.

The photo is of the puppy I chose: a female, the smallest of the litter, though not by much. She’s my first of this breed and my first toy breed in many years. She was the calmest and most laid-back compared to her sister, and since I already have a Jack Russell, I decided to go with the calmer one.

She definitely has an interesting personality. Any advice or opinions are more than welcome.

She just turned 2 months old and weighs 1.1 kg (a little over 2 pounds). Do you think she’ll grow bigger than her mom and end up closer in size to her dad, or do you think she’ll stay smaller?

When does the adult coat usually start coming in? What color do you think she’ll end up being — darker or lighter?

Also, when should I start taking her for grooming and brushing her regularly?

A follow up on my previous post.

I got the puppy. Both parents were present. The father was a big mostly white boy. The mother a normal ginger one altough her muzzle was more pronounced wich I even find a plus health wise. The photos don’t do them justice. Here is another of the pup I choose. She weights two pounds at 8 weeks and is the smallest.

As a disclaimer I did almost everything you shouldn’t.

4 helixes (2 on each) at the same time. They stopped hurting, then started hurting again week to week after month 3. Around month 5 not only did I change to hoops, but it’s not the greatest metal either hah.
So anyway there was some irritation, but not exactly a bump on the back of all, even when I was with studs. Now since changing it, it totally disappeared for two of them (left - top one, right bottom one) and they look perfect and don’t hurt (we are at 6-7 months). The other two however are now starting to form bumps (left - bottom, right - top).

Why? They’ve been treated the exact same, both ears and all the piercings. Why are two fine and the others not?

Do you think they look like Pekingese puppies? I have seen the mother and she for sure is. (The father supposedly as well) On these photos they are around 8 weeks old. My only concern is they could become big.

Edit*
I’m not buying but rather adopting/ a gift from a neighbour. They are supposed to be Pekingese , but I don’t care about the breed as long as I don’t end up with 30+ pound dog since we are in an apartment.
